Just wanna know what designer clothes you usually wear. Name your pick: Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, Polo Sport, Guess, Replay, Tommy Hilfiger... what?!

My additional question pa ko! Why, wear expensive designer clothes kung meron namang Pinoy brands dito, for all you know yung tela eh dito lang galing!

Wala...Di ako brand conscious eh...
Kung papipiliin, yung pinaka malambot yung tela. I go for comfort rather than brand.

I really hate it when my mom insists on buying me something and then loudly announces na, Diesel yan or Armani yan! I mean give me a break, it's just clothes. Give me a good locally made brand where the fit is comfortable, I'd surely wear it! Who stares the the brand anyway? I've never heard of anyone peering at someone's jeans to see the label.

Correction: Di na ginagawa dito ang branded clothes. It's now made in China, Korea, and Indonesia...

Well, i'm not a hypocrite to say i don't care about brands. I just find the brands that i want are those which fit me well and styles i really like. Shoot me if they're not that cheap. Anyways, i really like jeans from Levi's and Diesel. I'm also a Club Monaco, Mango, French Connection, Banana Republic, J Crew and SCOOP slave. Almost always, my clothes are from there..oh yah, add in the Gap, too :D

i really love the clothes in mango, very nice styles kasi, and the fit is really good. sa jeans, my jeans from levis, dkny and replay give a really good fit, and they will last a long time too.

some locally-made clothes cost abundle too. so it does not always mean na kung local, mura.

I'm a shopaholic, and I'm very into European designer clothes, because I like their style and design, their durability, their cut, and their being less "all over the place" better than the local stuff. I don't want to go out and risk seeing someone wear the same clothes that I'm wearing. Like Ice Burn though, I don't like nor wear clothes that scream out their labels--KSP ang dating. With local stuff, a lot of them don't retain their shape, the stitches loosen, the cloth gets mulmol etc. I usually get clothes from Versace, Max Mara, Dolce and Gabbana, Trussardi, Ce Comme Ca, Mango, Genny, Sasch, and Onyx.

gotta admit, im an abercrombie & fitch baby. ive loved the brand way back in '96 coz the clothes are just too darn comfy. and personally, i think you can never go wrong with The GAP.

aside from the two, i like EDC/esprit, express, the limited, AE, agnes b., and i LOVE, love, love rampage and j crew.

the stuff from H&M and urban outfitters are pretty cool too :)

maxine,

clothes in Mango are REALLY expensive although I admit they're nice. i admit that not all local brands have cheap price, but i believe that it would help the local industry if you buy one.

i'm not gonna be a hypocrite and say that i dont care about brands....usually the branded clothes last longer and the materials are much better than just any other brand...so i'd prefer to buy clothes that i know won't fade or shrink when i put it in the wash....but, in any case, these are what i usually wear.... :)

A|X
Banana Republic
Dolce & Gabbana (my #1 most comfortable jeans!!!)
Diesel (2nd fave jeans)
Replay (3rd fave jeans)
Iceberg (QT tops)
Abercrombie & Fitch
JCREW
Club Monaco
Polo
Ann Taylor

i wouldn't mind buying clothes with "no name", just as long as it'll last and it fits well.... :)

i don't consciously set out to buy designer stuff, but it just really happens that most of the clothes that fit me well are... well, designer. and yes, they do last longer, do retain their shape and fit better, and survive the wear and tear of the whole laundry process.

jeans are another story, though. i don't like brand-name jeans. the best ones i own come from random shops and little stores.

I like to buy clothes and bags and shoes..if I can get something cheaper with the same style and quality, why not? Pero minsan, totoo talaga na branded clothes and accessories last longer and more comfortable.

I absolutely love Ralph Lauren stuffs. Yung RL bag ko since 1993 pa pero kahit halos everyday ko sya gamitin, hindi pa sya nasisira and the style is classic. Clothes din are simple and they never go out of style.

I also buy from Guess, Marks & Spencer ( super comfy nung denims nila) and Lacoste.

HEHEHE! well porma lang yun :) but behind it, I don't get those kind of stuff easily, I need to do good in school and maintain a GPA grade of 2.5 and above in order to satisfy my parents to buy me those kinds of stuff. I don't take those stuff for granted. :)

my roomies and i usually raid the closest gap. it's fun, classic and clean-looking. we also hit banana republic once in awhile. i love express too- the sexy urban chic look. esprit and j crew. affordable, clean, comfortable, and attractive. that's what i look for. and i don't always necessarily find them at the shops above. i shop around. i buy what catches my eye. sometimes my bank accounts pays for it, but hey... what can i say?

marks and spencer is considered an 'expensive' brand in Manila because the prices are often higher than the 'regular' stores. While in the UK and other parts of the world, Marks and Spencer is considered to be a regular store..more in the line of SM.

M&S is OK naman. Its true that in the UK, M&S is just ordinary. But they make fine clothings. M&S is one of the brands that don't show-off their name on their products that are visible for people to see when you wear their product.

I don't wear my preferences on my sleeve (or my chest, for the matter) so I won't divulge the clothes I usually buy, but experience finds me choosing imported brands with discreet labels because they last longer and don't compel me to buy a new wardrobe every time a new style hits the runways :)

in Metro Manila, i usually buy my clothes in MANGO. i don't really care about the brand names as long as i feel comfortable w/ whatever i'm wearing and the clothes fit well. it just happens that i can only find my size in MANGO (and also MORGAN but they don't have that much collections of pants...mostly shirts) because i'm a size 0...sometimes 1 or 2 (depends on the brand...and if i gained weight! :D). i also buy clothes in Greenhills even if the size is a little bit bigger pero pwede ng pagtyagaan. :)

abroad, i buy whatever i want!!! feeling ko ang saya-saya ko coz i have my size there! shop to death talaga!!! :D i love the classic styles of Club Monaco, BCBG MAXAZRIA, Calvin Klein, Gap, etc. but i don't like clothes that have their brand name printed in front for the whole world to see. i like it simple & discreet.

as for my underwear, i buy it abroad or thru the internet. that's the only way for me coz i can't find my size in the Philippines. Victoria's Secret is my favorite...they have great collections for the "well-endowed". :D

i don't think branded clothes are important. as long as you feel comfortable with what u are wearing, e di ok na. naka-armani ka nga, di naman bagay sa yo. para que di ba?!
although it's nice to have branded clothes in your closet. so maybe buy if you can afford pero kung practicality din lang, you can find cheaper clothes but same design or cut with the branded ones.

AGREE???

i go for comfort when i buy clothes, so usually bumabagsak ako sa gap at jcrew. american eagle din and abercrombie. i don't really care where i buy stuff, basta ba nice and soft yung material, and i look presentable. i especially like old navy jeans, they're super comfy:)( mura pa! ) sometimes i find nice knitted sweaters sa limited.

kids in my school don't care naman what other people wear eh, kaya okay lang pag tinamad ako pumorma and i drag my scrummy self to class. sometimes, i even wear my bro's sweats!!!:D

pero if the occasion calls for it, i dress up naman. though i make my sister buy them for me (or i make hiram na lang from her:D, coz she's this "fashionable" person:)) i usually shop around sa walnut st. in center city, philly. madami kasing nice boutiques doon.

when i buy designer clothes, i buy them for their quality, not for the name they carry. kasi more often than not, designer clothes are made up of better material, so they last longer.

gap clothes are usually made in 'pinas, so are other brand-name clothes. mura kasi labor d'yan. so, if you're wearing gap clothes, you're actually wearing pinoy clothes!

p.s. i do love my "designer" enzo shoes though!

Well 4 me i dont usually go for branded clothes all i want is clothes that would go with my lifestyle and iD feel comfortable with it and most probably it should suit me.
I guess its not a brand that matters a lot its hoW you were able to HANDLE YOUR SELF WITH THE CLOTHES YOU WEAR.cause sometimes even thou we bought some espensive designer clothes but still it doesnt suit you or your not comfortable wearing it then its useless. as a student i still cant afford to buy those designer clothes cause i dont have a job yet and im not earning money so i just go for cheap but nice clothes. I guess we must not be toO concerned on what brand of clothes would you wear just to be 'IN" in the society now. its much nice to live simple. In korea dey dnt buy clothes which are not made in their country cause they are not "maarte" although their clothes have a high quality. so i dont care whetHer you wear la coste guess or ralph lauren JUST BE YOURSELF!

dragibus, are you serious? Those clothes are expensive.Sorry,I'm not trying to question your spending habit or how much money you earn since you can afford to wear these clothes.I work in the fashion industry and here's an insight on how much some of these designer labels costs:a skirt from comme de garcons can cost you AUS$500.00 for the cheapest and a pair of shoes from the same label can costs you around AUS$600.00 and once again this is the cheapest.A simple Chloe(designed by Stella McCartney)slip dress is around US$2000(medium price range for this label).A tie-dyed long sleeve blouse from Donna Karan is 1,000 UKpounds.A Versace dress can cost you at least US$80,000 for the latest range.Convert these prices into pesos and you can have a down payment for a house.

well..that's typical for top designer wear...as for chloe, when u go to their end of season sales, u can get good bargains..jeans from chloe got down to 100 dollars from 400. eh kung may pera sila, why not? i would buy chloe if i had the dough.

any brand will do. As long as it lasts long. I don't see the purpose of buying a shirt with a man playing polo for like 40$ american dollars..

As long as it's made in the USA, and not some sweat shop, I'll buy it.

I also love the Euro line...especially the shoes...man,they're the best especially Gucci for my Huney..Fits him well! And I love the classic style of Lacoste Poloshirts...Armani are still the best for formal attires.
And for casual, it's still best to wear sumthing from The Gap and Perry Ellis...I also like wearing jeans from Banana Republic, I must admit, they are really into Comfort.

What's cool to wear are clothes by Liz Claiborne, blouses by POLO , and CK. I would rather have a few of the genuine designer clothes than lots of fakes. I could just mix and match my quality tops w/ other qlty. unders to
suit my mood for the day. But nothing beats my PARKA on a cool, rainy day after school.
