With all the malls we have in Metro Manila, which one is your favorite and why? Don't just say because it's near your place. The mall should offer enough that you'd want to go there often even if it is out of the way.

it depends as to what i'm gonna do there. if i'm just planning to hang-out (w/c i don't do), i'd chose galleria, glorieta & festival mall. aside from the clean movies houses, there are other fun stuff to do. for shopping purposes, i'll go for megamall cause they probably have almost everything there & greenhills for obvious reasons. i'm not much of a mall-goer though but when i was still in high school, i was a regular. now i only go to a mall if i need to buy something or if i want to watch a movie. so maybe my conceptions are out-of-date.

let me c...#1 on my list would be greenhills...i can stay there all day juz looking for interesting stuff...then galleria, used to be a regular just like weye, during my high sch days...d famous tambayan of students...hehe...but then, if im really goin 2 shop til i drop...it'll be greenhills (ulit), megamall n glorietta...n as much as i want to go to atc or festival mall, etc, i cant coz its kinda far from my place n traffic pa :(

I think that Ayala Center is still the most complete mall as compared to the rest, but the best bargains will always be found in Greenhills.

ATC is really close to my heart. super favorite ko yon! sobra ko kasing daming mems don. kahit nung twin cinema pa sha, atc kid na ako.
after town, glorietta. grabe ang ganda ng g4, wala akong masabi. tsaka everything's there.

GALLERIA for me! It's very COZY, especially in the 3rd and 4th flrs. Unlike in Megamall where you'll get dizzy because of the people. Galleria's theatres are clean also and not so much lighted.

Shangri-la Plaza and Rockwell Center for all those snooty shops and to see conotic boys from Ateneo, La Salle, etc. The only problem with Rockwell is it's accessibility esp. when you are just commuting which in essence makes it the ultimate pang--sosyal mall.

Since I'm from Manila, SM City Manila is okay. It's size is just right for about 2 hours of malling. Try that at Megamall esp. on a Sunday or a payday. You could hardly move around.

Now, for a mix of both snooty shops and proximity to Manila, I guess nothing beats Robinson's Place Manila. It's got the snooty shops like Nine West, Lacoste, Marks and Spencer, DKNY, Calvin Klein Jeans, etc. and nice restaurants like Fridays, Starbucks, Cucina Victoria, Cinnabon, etc. Parking is not a problem if you always attempt to park at the Padre Faura side of the mall. The Pedro Gil side parking slots are easily filled up.

To those who want to pick up boys for a good time, try Harrison Plaza, Ali Mall, and even Guadalupe Commercial. :evil:

I loved shopping at Shangri-la and Megamall when I was there. Rustan's and Landmark came a close second. Rustan's is an old favorite and Landmark has the yummy spaghetti sa Foodcourt. Ayala Center was really good too. Nandoon ang Dulcinea!!!

One thing I noticed though...Shangri-la was virtually empty but Megamall was chock-a-block full of people. Bakit? Is it the Bingo or what? I actually prefer bumping into less ppl but I was just wondering what the appeal of Megamall was that Shangri-la didn't have.

I would have to say the Ayala Center in Makati, it's more diverse compared to other malls. Now Megamall is big but it's just too scattered. Robinson's just makes me feel like I am going round in circles. Alabang Town Center, I get lost all the time. Festival Mall is empty. Powerplant is ok though it's too cold. :D
