cebu =>; mura internet, p14/hour, meron pang p10/hour (pero 33.6 lang ang modem hehe)... check the net cafes along fuente osmena, casinos at waterfront hotel in lahug, tons of gimik places (discos and videoke bar) and shangri-la mactan... simply one best. tasty ang lechon sa lapu-lapu city and sa tabunok. daming girls sa univ. of san carlos, kulang 1 week kung puro gimik aatupagin mo! don't forget my favorite... dried mangoes... don ka bili sa shamrock sa rotonda/robinsons. hehe :cool:

kalibo =>; daming tao (local and foriegn) pag january, syempre!?!?! tapos, dadaan mo yung towns of makato... up to caticlan... tapos sakay ka boat... yeheyyyy!!! boracay ka na! tapos don ka tambay sa lorenzo south... order ka ng fresh fruit salad =Þ and in the evening, order a glass of gin & tonic and have a drink by the sea... wag ka lang masyadong titingin sa malayo (tapos senti ka!) at baka malunod ka!!! yakap mo nalang yung ka date mo!!! susss! :)

roxas city =>; hilig sa politics mga tao... grabe... walang pinag uusapan kung di politika. kaya sakay nalang ako ng ceres na bus pabalik sa iloilo. :)

iloilo =>; wuuw, sarap sa tatoy's restuarant... sarap sea food http://www.pinoyexchange.com/yummy.gif , if you've never been to tatoy's parang ndi ka rin nagpunta ng iloilo (dapat bayaran ako ng tatoys dito ahhh for commercial), and inom beer pulutan batchoy, hehe. daming tambay na hip-hop na ilonggo sa SM iloilo, hehe.

guimaras island=>; syempre favorite ko mangoes e, sakay ka ferry from iloilo... mahal ng newspaper (inquirer)... p20.00, hehe, pero oks lang, i admire the kid's initiative in order to send himself to school :)

ormoc =>; sarap seafoods... sakay ka supercat from cebu... ala richard gomez... hehe. buti nalang may atms na don... (BPI and PNB) kunde, d na ko makakabalek... waaaaa http://www.pinoyexchange.com/lol.gif

cagayan de oro =>; tambay ka limketkai o kaya ororama, the place where i observed most people have cell phones... as in almost every body has a 3210 or 8210/8850. para ka naring nasa makati. natives are so friendly :)

iligan city =>; two hour drive from cagayan de oro... you gotta visit 'tinago falls'... talagang breath taking...

davao =>; personally, if im going to leave manila given the chance to choose what city to stay, definitely its davao :) i missed 'luz kinilaw' so much and the bulalo at agdao market http://www.pinoyexchange.com/yummy.gif ... traffic is not as bad as in makati avenue / espana (taxi drivers are disciplined)... sarap ng suha! pero i don't like durian... :( syempre, nandoon ang mt. apo, the highest mountain in the phils. you can trek via kidapawan... and girls? punta ka sa ateneo... and ofcourse, people in davao are so warm :cool:

cotabato =>; punta ka sa gimikan, laging may marines na nakatambay in full battle gear, hehe, dun nga sa hotel where i stayed (in makakua street), may nakatagung mayor who survived an ambush e... just imagine the military escorts that hotel have at that time... hehe :cool:

me naman i've been to some places here in our country coz my course is Tourism, so required sa amin ang mag tour every semester sa iba't ibang places for us to familiarized sa mga different spots dito sa Pinas:

Cavite - usually mga historical places lang dito like Aguinaldo Shrine...

Batangas - here naman its not really on my course why i was able to go there, but with my friends from highschool coz every summer we tend to go for an outing, way way back noong hindi pa kami busy sa respective works namin.

Tagaytay - dito tour namin sa school and one time naman trip lang napagkasunduan lang na magpunta don.

Laguna - isa rin sa mga tour namin, dito sa Rizal Shrine naman

Subic - Wow... ito yung time na kakaalis pa lang ng mga kano, so ginagawa pa lang tourist spot ang place na ito, here we trek the mountain and had some community service sa mga Aetas.

Puerto Galera, Mindoro - This place is cool :cool: i like the place atop of the mountain here called Ponderosa and also the coco beach.

Villa Escudero Tiaong, Quezon - Well this place is beautiful, sarap sa man made falls nila...

Baguio - quite common na, pero still such a nice place... Burnham, Mansion House, PMA, Camp John Hay, mga Buddhist Temples don, Wright Park etc...

Samar - Super wow sa kin tong place na to gusto ko ulit balikan dito yung... i forgot na the name, pero yon yung pinag shootingan nina Dawn Zulueta and Richard Gomez, doon sa Formation Rock facing the Pacific Ocean, that place is kinda Enchanted, may diwata yata don eh, kasi nung papunta kami sa island eh, medyo hanggang bewang ang tubig and unti unting lumalakas ang alon until we reach the place, lalong lumakas grabe hampas ng alon sa mga bato, medyo maiingay kasi kami eh so sabi ng prof namin konting tahimik naman and yon humupa rin ang alon then nong pauwi na hanggang sakong na lang ang tubig sa tatawiran namin at walang kahirap hirap kaming nakaalis agad sa place na yon...... haaaayyyy..... :cool:

Iloilo - Dito naman seven lang kami ng mga classmates ko, eto kasi yung place na napili namin para gawan ng research project, kaso naman karamihan naman puro mga lumang churches wala masyadong magimikan, Gaisano pa lang ang mall noon nong pumunta kami don, ginagawa pa lang ang SM shoemart so don lang kami nakapaglibot-libot at syempre di mo mapi-feel na galeng ka don kung di mo natikman ang specialty ng iloilo... ang kanilang Batchoy :)

Cebu - Well just like the metro manila ang Cebu "the queen city of the south" okey rin mga tao dito sunod din sa uso at di nagpapahuli, well ang places na napuntahan namin dito are Fort San Pedro, Mactan, syempre ang walang kamatayang Magellan's Cross, Landmark of Lapu-lapu and most especially and mga malls :)

Camiguin - This is the place na gusto kong magkaron ng bahay bakasyunan. The island is quite exotic, ganda pa ng place, sarap magsolo together with your loved one doon sa white island (tama ba ang term ko "magsolo together with your loved one") tapos akyatin ang Way to the Cross parang penetensya pero worth it naman pag nasa tuktok ka na ng bundok at nareach ang peak, ang sarap mag sight seeing... magmuni-muni kumbaga. Ilocos Region: Batac, Paoay, Pagudpud, Laoag and some other towns in Ilocos Norte and Sur. I love the beaches, the museums, the churches, the food, the culture.

Baguio: The climate's nice. Nagka-windburn nga lang ako. There are lots of nice places to see. Masarap magshop ng mga pasalubong.

Baguio - as in trice a year ksi I have friends and relatives there kaya everytime I visit mega gimmick kami. :D

Fort Ilocandia - This is place is so good and most specially serene. I guess its main attraction for me is its FOOD. The resident Chef is the best! I tried local delicacies (ilocano foods) as well and it tastes good. The place is totally different with its architecture (Imelda Marcoz Idea) and the superb beach. The WIDE coast line is so impressive and not to mention the SAND DUNES(no same topography can be found in the Phils. similar to this, I guess) near the area. Its unfortunate that I wasn't able to explore that place!.

Cape Bojeador LightHouse - This more that 100 years lighthouse is so majestic and its mind boggling how it retains its original structure since it was build in 1891! The place is so beautiful overlooking the cape. No surrounding residential areas beside the lighthouse which contributed to its prestine impression. This place is definetly worth to visit, the romantic aura this place has offer can't be denied, a must for lovers i would say. What intrigue me is about an old picture I saw in one of the museaum in Laoug deficti the inaguration of that lighthouse complete with people wearing the old style dress of that bygone era. Based on that picture, the lighthouse is so preserve as if the picture that I saw was just taken a year ago!

The Paniki Falls - These falls are so secluded up in the mountain that you need to pass through the PNOC BACON-MANITO geothermal field in Sorsogon in order to reach the place. These falls is so unique that it falls on the same area side by side but having a different source of streams! The other one originated from hotspring with sulfuric content and its hot. the lagoon where it falls is turning light green for the reason I don't know. The other one is a natural spring and its cold. These falls I guess is so unique imagine two cascading water with different temperature and source falling side by side to each other. Facing the falls is the city of legaspi far away with Mayon Volcano on its background.

whew! Kakainggit, dami nyo na napuntahan! AKO I've been around Luzon but never been to the Visayas and Mindanao. Ironic, because my family originated from Camiguin. ANyway, here's the list of places I've been to:

Baguio (lived there actually during college years)
Ilocos (practically all towns)
Pangasinan (the best ang Lingayen, you should visit the almost virgin beaches)
Tarlac
Olongapo
Batangas (halos lahat din ata ng towns)
Quezon Province (Real, Quezon is nice - try going by the backdoor entrance in Taytay Rizal; ganda ng view)

ilocos norte -pumunta kami ng pagudpud, batac, laoag
ilocos sur - taga dito lola ko so nung bata ako madalas akong magbakasyon dito. nakapunta na ako sa sinait, vigan at bantay, meron pang iba pero nakalimutan ko na yung lugar.
baguio - madaming beses na rin akong pumunta dito... barkada trip, company seminar o di kaya dalawin ang aking kaibigan.
sagada, mt. province - last month ko lang napuntahan. sayang madami akong namiss na place. lagi kasing sumasakit ang katawan ko kaya di namin napuntahan lahat.

pangasinan - hundred islands... nag-tour sa mga islands (pero masungit yung bangkero, ayaw magpababa).

pampanga - elementary field trip namin. di pa pumuputok nun ang mount pinatubo.

tagaytay - cavite ba ito o batangas? masarap mamahinga at matulog. the best ang bulalo nila.
batangas - ang town ng talisay ang pinakagusto ko...kaya lang halos lahat ng gagawin mo may bayad. mula sa bangka, hanggang sa pagpanik sa viewdeck ng crater ng taal volcano... hanggang sa pagbaba ng crater. pero superb ang view. nakakawala ng pagod.
laguna - pinakapaborito kong lugar dito ay majayjay, dahil sa falls na sobra sa lamig.
mindoro - puerto galera, the best para sa akin ang corals dun, then sa calapan, nagwithdraw lang sa bank kasi walang atm machine sa galera, sana nagbatangas na lang pala kami kasi sobrang layo ng calapan sa galera.
quezon - pumunta sa tagkawayan at guinayangan (di ako sure tama ang spelling ko). nanguha ng suha, dalandan, buko at calamansi sa taniman ng ex ko.
camarines sur - nakapunta na ako ng naga. nanood ng sine at kumain sa jollibee.
albay - taga pio duran ang nanay ko, pero di pa ako nakakapunta ng legaspi. yun lang ang place na napuntahan ko sa albay
sorsogon - dun kami dinaong nung bangkang sinakyan namin galing albay.
cebu - gumala lang sa city then pumunta na sa haus ng friend ko. di ko matandaan kung anong bayan yun
bohol - ang ganda sa panglao... sarap balikan
