philippines vs. states

im doing a paper for my class..it has to be some kind of a comparative paper...we've been reading novels and watching films about different parts of the world...i was thinking of doing my term paper on comparing living in the philippines vs living in the states...taking into mind how typical filipino people perceive America to be and how they tend to underestimate their own country of the philippines...any suggestions? last year, someone did a paper on the coffee industry and how it has become worldwide, for example, starbucks...there's a starbucks on almost every street corner in any city in any country you go to... :) thanks to whoever replies.... :)

I would be happy to help you in your research for a comparative study of life between the USA and the Philippines from the point of view of someone who has lived in the USA.

However, you must indicate more specifically the scope of your study. How about a brief sentence outline? Indicate the ultimate objective of the study also.

thanks for the reply!! actually, i am living in the states....i don't know how or what to compare it with living in the philippines...??? i would probably talk a bit about the social, political aspects of both countries.....actually, i still have no solid idea of how to go about writing this paper...hmph.. :\ btw, what's ur email addy? thanks again for the reply.... :)
