Best Fashion Mags?

What in you opinion is the best fashion magazine around?

For older women, Preview or Mega.. Preview was better before, but now, I would have to say, Mega.

For the teenaged set, Seventeen - not too colorfully unreal.

Marie Claire US and IN STYLE US are the best fashion magazines. I like Marie Claire US because apart from fashion and beauty features, there are also articles on relevant social issues (mostly affecting women). You could basically read everything from cover to cover.

Special note: I love September Vogue and I think it's the only issue of Vogue worth every cent (ang mahal na kasi ng magazines dito) :P

Local Magazines? Wala. I'm so sick of seeing the same faces and same designers and brands again and again. Maybe Cosmo Manila is *OK* because they feature real women and diverse body types. The rest, like Preview, Mega and Metro are publicists' catalogs in my opinion. :)

I have to agree with caryatid_kitten. local fashion magazines are, more often than not and most of the time, publicists' catalogs.

i liked preview when it still had the "fashion police" portion! hilarious! :D (i was reading fashion magazines even in grade school hehe - i'm still 18)

uhmm for foreign mags.. i like Glamour, Marie Claire and Dolly (Aussie teen mag) :)

hands down, teen vogue (http://www.teenvogue.com). better than vogue vogue. and beats all the local magazines.

My age is going to come out here, but I just remembered by favorite "teenage" fashion mag before - - Sassy! Meron pa a nito?!

Oh, another interesting fashion magazine is Lucky :D Very shopping friendly ;)

i have an affinity for japanese magazines like non-no, vivi, and an-an. :p i know ang weird ng mga names nila. pero fashion at its best talaga. i love how the japanese mix and match. and i am not really talking about harajuku style street fashion as these magazines are for stylish ladies in their 20s and early 30s...

i buy the thick september vogue for the drool-worthy fashion photography of the latest ads. for the other months it would depend on who is on the cover... i also pick up instyle and W. and teen vogue at times, again depending on the cover pa rin.

Yeah! Glamour is the best. I read Glamour US, though. I love Jake's section, he's very effective in pumping out guy's POV in his little column. I also like their Dos and Donts and How-To sections - very informative.*okay* And they advocate women to love their body type and skin color, no matter what. :)

Oh I have to agree with Glamour UK. Meaty content. Great when stuck in traffic or waiting in line somewhere. Teen Vogue, too. Helps these are so handy in size--fits my shoulder bag.

In Style is boring in my opinion. Style suggestions are too safe.

Locally, I will have to say I like Preview and Metro better than Cosmo. Mega's layout/art direction sucks.

I like preview and mega, they give really good advice. I saw their article about myra facial moisturizer, which totally solved my dry skin prob. these mags have great editors who know what theyre doing. so im so thankful. although of course, some things can be very repetitive.

For me it's InStyle, Glamour is a close 2nd. For local naman, I like Preview and fashion wise Cosmo is so-so but I like browsing through it din naman.

The only thing that improved with Preview over the last few years was its layout. Its content has deteriorated considerably and consistently; on a second thought, what content. I stopped buying this magazine 3 months ago when I went through the entire thing in less than 5mins; but that's only my humble opinion :)

i prefer international mags to local. i don't even buy local mags anymore. my fave fashion magazines are italian vogue and nylon, these are much more fashion-centered. other faves are elle, in style and lucky!
