View Full Version : Best Place to Take Your Date this X'mas
Manila Peninsula's lobby. You don't have to eat naman anything too expensive eh. :D The place is really Christmas-y, the musicians play carols, and the whole place just has great ambiance ...perfect for a Christmas season date.

somewhere cold.. for some reason, I equate Christmas and winter together always... Christmas in NY or Chicago would be awesome... dinner downtown.. figure skate outdoors.. play snowball fight...

Marriott Marquis Hotel on Times Square... so near after a theater date on Broadway and dinner at the Four Seasons... just before "doing it" you can catch some sporting celebs like Martina Hingis, Ken Griffey, Jr., Wayne Gretzky, Derek Jeter, Kristie Yamagushi or even Michael Jordan at the nearby All Star Cafe... then strolling a little along the Avenue of the Americas... fantacizing those skyscrappers like that Time-Life Building as some sort of phallic symbols (!)... wow! Nothing can beat that!!

Peps and Jupiter: how do I make reservations sa Sonia's Place??? I want to go there!!!!
Malamig ang pasko ko ngayon. Walang kayakap. *boohoo* Kung ide-date ako gusto ko sa hmmm sa hotel lobby ng Manila Pen siguro o kaya sa Tagaytay. Or punta kami sa Enchanted Kingdom or yung carnival sa Fort tapos hug hug kami habang naglalakad. *sigh*

MsEerie:
sonya's garden is only open on weekends. it sometimes opens on weekdays, like today i called and they will be open. i guess a big enough group pushed for resevations.
their # is 0917-532-9097. call them don't text. :)
you have to be there by 5pm, they will serve dinner by 5:30 and by the time it's about 7:00, most of the people are leaving. if you arrive at 6pm they might not serve you anymore. i think they really want the people to experience the tagaytay sunset to compliment the great food that they have.
you have enough time to walk around and enjoy the place.
prepare about Php 800 per person and i assure you it's very well worth it.
fantastic food, ambiance and privacy....

napakadaling sagutin ng katanungan mo lonely gal...
i can afford to take my girl anywhere in this galaxy. money is not an issue... all i have to do is sleep and find my dreamgirl. from there, bahala na ang imagination ko kung saan kami pupunta.
in other words, i'll be spending my christmas alone... nangangarap na may kasama.
