i was interviewed here before. i think the interviewer was trying to psyche us. from all everything we were told during the interview/orientation part, here's what i gathered:

-work there is really hard and you're lucky if you could last a few months. a friend of my classmate worked there and lasted for 2 days. of course, some people last longer. but the turnover is fast.

-work starts at 8 and ends when it's done. the interviewer even told us about this cum laude from up who applied. the applicant was qualified and was accepted. after the interview, when the applicant met his/her parents, the dad was asking him/her why the interview took so long. the interviewer heard it and called the applicant after to revoke acceptance. and in his words "bawal ang pakialamerong magulang" and boyfriends/girlfriends too.

-and he discriminates against graduates from some schools. he specifically told us "kung may kakilala kayo from *a certain exclusive girl's college* sabihin niyo sa kanila, wag na silang magapply. wala silang lugar dito. puro kaartehan lang alam nila"

-they texted me at around 9-10am asking me to come over at 1pm for an interview that same day. the text was not very cordial. it was more of demanding. same thing during the follow up interviews.

i got really turned off with all these but i was willing to take on the challenge because:

-they focus on below-the-line advertising/marketing. and are more hands on because they have their own supplies, production house (of sorts), etc.
-they have a good client base. nestle, san miguel, to name a few
-they actually have their own building and not just an entire floor. they have regional offices too.
-the pay is within the average entry-level range for the industry but can be doubled after a few months if you deliver.

i got until the final interview but had to turn it down because i found out that i qualified for our MA program.
