back then during the NCAA DAYS of LA SALLE iskwater daw tayo at walang pinag aralan. NOW SINO ANG SQUATTER? AT BOBO?


DLSU-MANILA STATEMENT ON THE UAAP INCIDENT

De La Salle University-Manila regrets the incident which happened right after the first game of the UAAP Men's Basketball finals series at the Araneta Coliseum on 29 September 2005. Many persons witnessed the unsportsmanlike behavior of one official of our Men's Basketball Team. The incident was also captured on national television. We certainly will not condone any such act especially if it harms others. This incident does not reflect the values we stand for as an educational institution.

We apologize to Arwind Santos and the Far Eastern University community, to the other UAAP member-schools and to the general public. We will fully cooperate with the UAAP investigation of the incident and abide by their decision.

Mr. Manny Salgado has apologized to the DLSU community and has voluntarily withdrawn from the team.

Many of us witnessed how well-fought this game was and how it has brought out the best in both teams. We hope that this rivalry will remain a venue for bringing out the best among our teams and supporters.

Why don't you just fight your own battle? Why do you have to bring the whole letran community to this?

ang tagal tagal na niyang letran-dlsu rivalry ha! nabaon na ata yan sa lupa! magtigil ka nga eddiegil it is so IMMATURE of you. my gosh ilang dekada na ang dumaan bitter ka parin. nakakahiya ka! kung letranista ka nga eh isinusuka kita! kadiri ka! yuck yuck yuck! you are so not a letranista like! :grrr:

Wag naman sana i-generalize mga taga la salle unfair yun eh iisang tao lang naman gumawa noon at like any other school, diverse mga tao dun.

During the past NCAA days, according to my parents, lahat daw ng school eh nag-gugulpihan., kaya hindi lang letran ang basagulero noon. pati rin ateneo, beda, la salle, baste, etc...

FYI: It was Letran who started the melee in the now famous 1980 NCAA Black August between LA Salle & Letran when a student in a blue & red jacket threw a spark plug at the La Salle bench. I was there at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum. And if I'm not mistaken can also be seen in the newspapers the following day. So much for your beloved Letran.
