WHILE it is still too early to talk about next season [as season 81 has not concluded yet], i just thought of putting up a thread about it just to give an avenue for those who as early as now has anything to share na about next season.

Season 82 host is College of Saint Benilde - Blazers.

maiimprove na for sure yung school ko which is san beda, daming 6'5 pataas,as in, and bedan na yung coach (koy)

for sure magiimprove din ang CSB and JRU

CSB nga pala host next season!!!

espinas is still eligible for next season, probably his last before turning pro....sina sanz, retaga at solis ang wala na...

for letran, mawawala na sina andaya, alcaraz, rodriguez and anabo

for san beda, its paterno

pero db 24 yrs old na Espinas?

which means magkakaron ng problem when it comes to his age eligibilty

yup, paterno is out but our team is really rebuilding so i think our school is one of the teams to look out for this coming 82nd season...

"End the 28 at 82" (hoping)

ano ba age limit ng NCAA, 24 or 25?

sa UAAP kase, 25....

Yeah, from what I know, Espinas is on his last year 'cause he's 24 turning 25 this year (I guess). A friend of mine, who tried out for CSB a few years back, was supposed to be taken in but when asked about how old he was (24), he wasn't taken in by coach Yturri since he was going to take a year of residency which is a year. So by the time he steps foot in the NCAA arena, he is 25. This friend of mine told me that he wasn't allowed by the team since there was an age limit (25). I could be wrong with regard to that one, though.

mapua will grab the crown...

reason: at season 81 they brag 3rd place; and sa season 82, walang mawawala sa knila, plus the team will gain experience and exposure... also dela pena, gonzales, del rosario, sumalinog and coach horacio lim will gain experience in the upcoming pbl tournament, also salud will be 100%...

Mapua SURELY grabbing the crown would be an overstatement...Letran has still its key players, Aban, Bautista, Aldave and the rookie Azul (or Jazul?) who showed his skills sa Finals plus Enrile may come back. San Beda has Aljamal, while CSB has their MVP Sagad.PCU has Espinas and Castro. it's still hard to tell, with upcoming rookies from all schools may surpise us this next season.

As for our Jose Rizal, we have some promising rookies in the last season and were hoping they would improve coming to the next NCAA season. Player to watch for the Heavy Bombers is Floyd Dedicatoria.

Oct 5, 2005, 11:55 PM
^all i know, sa UAAP and NCAA teams, team B ang naglalaro, sa other teams na nagpaparticipate, mismong team A nila ang naglalaro...

like for example, sa Arellano, back to back champs sila sa FMC from 03-04 fielding their Team A players but San Beda Team B dethroned them that's why my school is present in the finals...

too bad, many are hoping for a San Beda-Ateneo Finals match but Ateneo was defeated by Lyceum in the semifinals with a score of 73-70...

The Dolphins will surely grab the championship next year, Gabby is determined to get the crown back to it's rightful owner (PCU) bago sya umalis, and for sure malaki ang matutulong ng PBL sa Dolphins dahil almost lahat ng players maglalaro.. Revenge is sweet!!

Pero good luck din sa ating lahat!!

you got it man....

if Mapúa-Letran, battle of intramuros, plus battle of classic.. and for sure puno ang araneta nyan, not like this season...

if Letran-San Beda, its the most classic finals ever... as in rival of rivals, no question ask, puno araneta nyan, not like this season...

if Mapúa-San Beda, classic din, reminiscin' their finals game w/c Mapúa won last 1991, and also, rivals of rivals din yan... puno araneta nyan...

Even if Letran would lose 4 key players, the depth of their bench this season plus the reported good recruits, will make them contenders again.

MIT. Gaya ng nasabi na, they will have an intact line-up. Dapat lang kabahan and kalaban sa kanila.

San Beda. If any of you have seen their red shirting players, you will say outright contender sila next season. Their front line rotation will have guys standing at 6'8",6'7",6'6" 6'5". Very athletic and with good basketball skills.

PCU has tall players in its current line. With 7 months to next season, we can be sure Coach Baculi will have these guys ready for next year. If Espinas can or will play again, malakas pa rin yan.

San Sebastian may no longer have Leo Najorda. Pero yung gulang ni Coach Valenzona is what makes them competitive. Pero may nagawa ba sila, at Baste still made it to the Final 4?

Dito pa lang, we got 5 teams who can make credible claims to make it to the finals. A tight race between 2 teams will excite anyone. Lalo na kung 5 !

23 Lang si Espinas ngyn year na ito... Ang age limit sa NCAA is 25.. In my own opinion, malakas pa rin ang Dolphins next Season...

C - Beau Belga
PF - Gabby Espinas
SF - Carlos Cecila
SG - Liz Amparado
PG - Jason Castro

Go Dolphins Fight!!!

^^ di na yata pwede si acraman. naglalaro na sya dati pa sa PCU kasabay nila omolon, franco and soriano.. nagulat nga ako biglang sumulpot ulit sya sa line up this year considering he didn't play the past two years for PCU.

^ it would be better if PCU gets a mobile SF, much like Sans and Aban was...Espinas,Solis,Belga can all rotate the center-PF positions, magaling naman silang blockers and defenders eh, so a tall and slow SF would only slow them down on fastbreaks where Castro needs some backup

Yeah Ur ryt!!! I remember, kabantayan nya pa si Sunday Salvacion!!!

Tama ka diyan si Cecilia quality Forward naman, he has the ability to drive and improvement lang sa outside game, he can score from the arc. May game against MIT sunod sunod ang 3 points niya. Ballhandling with more playing time he can improve on that department. Besides with his 6 foot 3 frame malaki siya sa mga match ups against other teams forwards.

Pwede rin si Garrido sa SF which by the way may nakapagsabi na babalik sa team with Happee/PCU sa PBL this conference.
