you probably meant *richard bach,* the writer..and not JLS..
yep, he's really good. infact he's a fave of mine.
here's a number of his that i've read and kept...
-Jonathan Livingston Seagull
-There's No Such Place as Far Away [continuation of JLS]
-One
-Bridge Across Forever
-BiPlane
-Illusions [my fave]
-Gift of Wings
-Nothing By Chance
-Stranger to the Ground

...most of what he's written has something to do about flying. probably cos he's a pilot himself.

It's okay, but a bit high-schoolish.

Oh, and it's Jonathan Livingston Seagull (http://www.42.dropbear.id.au/jls.html), by Richard Bach.

If if's a classic, they say it's high-schoolish, If It's a good one they say it's for adults.

I didn't mean it that way.

I meant, the message of the book is quite profound, but the length, depth & language isn't very heavy

On the other hand, Sophie's World and Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance are both revered as 'classics' but I wouldn't recommend them to a 'high-schooler'.

Anyway, Bridge Across Forever was, indeed, an interesting read -- though it's been ages since I read any of Richard Bach's books.
