let me see....
me and my KALAROs used to play pepsiiii - 7up!, hide and seek, monkey-monkey, patintero (remember the "patotot"? funny name :) ), chinese garter and a lot more.

...sad to say, these games are now unfamiliar to most of the kids now. puro computer games na lang sila ngayon.

What about lights-out hide and seek? My cousins and I would turn the lights out (this game has to be played at night) and we cower behind furniture, hang with fingers and toes on shelves, and spiderman climb doorways while the IT blindly looks for us.

you should try playing the virtual games at pinoygames.com... merong virtual patintero, virtual taguan & vitual tumbang preso... hahaha... loko lang.

seriously, i agree with broom completely. kawawa naman ang kids ngayon, puro virtual games ang nilalaro nila.

di na sila nadadapa, na-uutog, pinapawisan... boring! bawal na din silang maglaro ng tubig. swerte natin noon.

i think that the #2 item should be sumpit, diba. :)

the bangkaan is really fun, specially after being soaked up by some rainwater. pagalingan gumawa ng di lumulubog at mabilis na bangka, with wet hands yun ah. :)

no sumpit is different from sumpak. I think you use sumpit to shoot butil ng munggo or rice by blowing through a tiny tube made of wood or metal. in the olden days, sumpits are used as weapons by aborigines from the phils & australia.

sumpak on the other hand is similar to a bicycle air pump. it's mostly made of bamboo with a barrel opening of about 1/2" in diameter. it works by placing a piece of wet diyaryo/paper at the of the barrel then **** the handle on the other end then push down to shoot. this action creates a popping sound (pak, pak) hence it was named sumpak.

i just remembered one of my favorites..jolens (marbles). i used to win lots of it & usually kept them in my pocket as i play. the problem is when both pockets are full, the weight tends to pull down my shorts showing my butt crack!

I like patinter, agawan-base, tumbang preso and langit lupa. I'm also fond of watching "agaw buko". Are you familiar with this game? Well, it's one of those games wherein you have a buko that's lathered in oil to make it slippery in the middle of the playing area and players running from different sides of the area with equal distances to get the buko and putting it in their home base. But take note, I just like watching it. It can get brutal kasi. :)

Who could ever forget patintero and sungka? I remember making it to the regional finals in patintero way back in grade school. During the games, we were told to wear white shirts and our hands were coated with powdered dye.

I also played with rubber bands, marbles, and tex cards, and I had a collection of them.

One of my favorite games way back in grade school is called 'maro-maro'. In this game, there are two groups of equal number of players, and the assigned leader of each group will establish their bases or 'kampos'. These bases are located approximately 50 meters apart, and are usually either a side of fence or a tree. http://www.pinoyexchange.com/lol.gif

Anyway, there are two ways to win the game. One way is to directly infiltrate the other group's base. That is, a group wins if any of its members manages to touch the other group's base without being caught first. A player can be caught only when he is not in direct contact with his group's base (i.e. if he is not holding the tree or the fence)

The other way is to rescue those who were captured or the prisoners. The prisoners are those who attempted to infiltrate the other group's base but are caught in the process. They are made to form a line starting from the base, and in order to make a rescue and win the game, the remaining players of their group should touch the last person on the line (the person farthest from the base). Of course, the group that holds that prisoners should not let this happen and should guard their base well.

ollagram_12, I won't give you the number that you want because of what you did. May utang ka pa sa akin.

O, how do you play monkey monkey anabelle?
