Also, sa tingin ko, mas maganda kung government hospital kasi you get to do procedures that other interns from private or tertiary hospitals don't get to do.

Goodluck.

APMC already distributed the forms for the internship program, including the hospitals where we could apply to.

my question is do those # of slots available (per hospital) pertain to the # of graduates they accept from other schools? or kasama na dun *** interns nila (like that in UP-PGH)?

and my website ba *** apmc regarding this, so that we will know more what hospitals suits us (ndi lang "sabi nung ate nya na toxic daw sa ganitong ospital blah blah blah")?

thanks in advance. :D

reg, yung number of slots na sinasabi mo yun yung total number ng mga interns na pwede nilang kunin regardless of what school they came from (pero most of the time naman kung saan naman nag-aral yung mga interns dun na din sila sa mother hospital nila).

Regarding sa website, meron sila. Nakalimutan ko lang yung exact address.

I hear Medical City is good. Great new facilities and since it's expensive it's not too swamped with people so it's not toxic.

Victor Potenciano ba yun? November ka start ng PGIship, Jeff?

Lam ko mga benign hospitals for internship include polymedic, cardinal santos, medical city, lourdes, chinese gen. Pero ako I opted to go to a government hospital, kasi gusto ko makita yung mga grabe cases, saka to develop skills. Toxic nga lang saka less time to study for the boards.

^^ Well, I think I'd go for the government hospitals than the benign ones since the patients are the best textbooks.

Is it true maraming surgical cases sa Jose Reyes?

Ako nag-PGI sa government hospital. Ok naman yung priveleges. Pag from duty ka ng weekday uwi ka na by noon. Pag from ka ng Sat or Sun uwi ka na by 8am. Free meals. Pag di ka duty ng Sat or Sun off ka. Tuwing Fri afternoons may free board review.
