Which of this menus can i disable during the startup of my pc... those that are not essential... so i can save some memory...

depends on what you need. if you think that you need syleXP in startup then dont disable it.
it will also make your boot time faster.

Why do folks make their desktops pretty with this Style XP thingy when it does absolutely nothing on production side?
Yank out Style XP. That's just crap memory hog. Adobe Loader is not really necessary unless you intend to use Photoshop all the time. Just ask yourself, before you even installed PS, did this exist on basic Windows? You can also shut down "hpfsched" if you have no intentions to print out something.

Some people uses Style XP just to enhance the 'eye-candy' of there Windows Xp computers. Kanya kanyang trip lang yan... FYI, there is also an option in Style XP to select "Use no resources". I use this software and never encounter any problems.
To the original poster, just leave the AVGCC and AVGEMC checked. These are the files needed for you to auto run AVG AntiVirus... The rest, uncheck them.

this is a shareware but you only need this progy once. Uninstall after use.
