Lasallians ba or Benildeans ba??? Well alam nyo kasi sa schl natin sa CSB ang dalawa ang Saint na pinapatronized natin (w/c is Benilde and Lasalle) not like the other Lasallian System school si Lasalle lang... Now am not saying ndi tayo lasallista... actually we are... coz we are part of the Lasallian System di ba!!! Pero I think mas maganda kung we gonna call ourself as Benildeans... Kasi there some Lasallian (mga taga tafat) that discriminate mga taga CSB... ewan ko kung bakit siguro ingit sila or something... Sometimes they say "CSB peps pls dont pretend to be a Lasallian" so fine with me... Sa kanila na ang prestige ng name ni lasalle... Proud naman ako kay Benilde eh ... beside its just a name...

i guess if your inside the campus, you should be called benildeans kase mas sanay sila na ganon.

kung sa labas naman, pwede rin benildeans but i think dapat lasallans rin kase isa lang naman ang system eh.

Acctually there's nothing wrong with CSB!!! the problem is some Lasallian(Taft) has some sort of a interacting problems with us Benildeans.. usually ganyan naman sila mga taga Lasalle Taft eh... maybe because they feel more superior compare to CSB... Maybe because minsan nasasapawan namin sila... maybe because ingit sila, or maybe ayaw nila culture namin and find it very informative and casual... whatever the reason is, that is not our problem... smokin:

HI! ewan ko sa iba, pero for me, if a person asks me where am I studying, I usually tell them La Salle Benilde. So i guess, La Salle Benildians, kaya lang, medyo mahaba. Benildeans will be fine. Anyway, CSB is I guess, the primary brother-school of DLSU-Manila. kasi taga Taft rin tayo. Pero, kaya ko rin sabihin frankly na taga St. Benilde ako.

my 2 older kapatids graduated from DLSU Main while i graduated from Benilde, and they asked me before kung ano nga ang tawag samen...hhhhmmmmm...mejo mahirap nga, but i tell them na mas swerte ako sa kanila because i have 2 sets of values which go together...tawag lang nila sa sarili nila lasalista...tsaka sino lang naman ang pwedeng magsabi na lasalista na benildean pa :)

Actually isa yan sa mga factors kung bakit walang confidence ang majority ng CSB students particularly to frosh students. We have some kind of identity problem because of our delimma on what should we be calling ourlselves. but for me i say, BENILDEAN for eventhough we are part of LA SALLE system, our administration I think silently mold us to be BENILDEAN just in the case of CSB participation in NCAA, the administration never allowed us to use ANIMO LASALLE in NCAA But ANIMO BENILDE... I think the administration should put a stand.. some sort of manifest addressing that particular matter. Having own identity is very important aspects in molding and giving confidence in one person.

I must say na dapat lets be proud of were we're studying. I'm proud to sya that i'm a Benildean dhil ders nothing wrong naman with being a Benildean or a Lasallian. I don't know kung ano ang problema ng kabila sa tin at bakit nila tayo sinesegregate.

We don't know have any clear idea kung bakit ganon ang treatment nila sa tin. All can I say is that I'm proud to be a Benildean no matter what other people say.

They are fit to be called Lasallians because they really are.

But my unbiased opinion is that its better to call them Benildeans to establishh their identity as Bennildeans and not as shadow students of DLSU-Main.

dapat siguro benildeans especially now that we have a problem of creating our own identity..personally, mas gsuto ko na tawagin na benildean kesa la sallian (kahit na may karapatan ako coz i cam from la salle)..i entered benilde of my own volition, not because i got kicked out, so i would like to be called a benildean...i am proud to be called a benildean..
it irritates though that the people from the main seem to look down on benildeans..

remember that article in plaridel that came out?i dont know if benildeans know of this pero may sumulat sa plaridel. the author of the letter was really adamant about benildeans not calling themselves la sallians..from what i remember, talagang dinidisown nya ang mga benildeans..tambakan daw tayo and all that...this was around two years ago..
its ironic isnt it that some people in main feel this way when (as i have often mentioned here in pex)tayo ang halos nagtutustos para sa la salle system..cash cows kung baga...
i just hope hindi lahat ng tiga la salle main ganyan ang perception...ksi im sure they themselves hate to be judged and branded...
anyways, as for me, di naman ako atat to call myself a la sallian..okay na ako sobra sa benildean...mas happy ako dun...ive found my friends for life in benilde.. :)

if ever kasi na maging benildean ang tawag sa atin dapat alisin na ang De La Salle University at gawing College of Saint Benilde na lang. Dahil sa pangalan ng La Salle *** nagkakaron ng problema sa identity.

Sana ma-realize ng mga students sa main na part din tayo ng system at wag sila masyadong mayabang dahil pagdating sa industry mas mgaling pa din ang graduates from benilde in terms of creativity and innovativeness.
