as a person - he's really nice

i'll never forget nung nagalit siya
sa amin on a report without justification-
weird...

but hey..mabait naman siya after class and
forgetten na yung episode kaya okay lang.
i'd take him again if pwede.

to people who have been under him before: paano sya mag-grade sa report cards? he always gives the class low marks on papers and oral exams. super yabang pa nya. magtanong ka lang ng innocent question on theology, magagalit na. feeling nya kinokontra mo na sya. grrr!!!

kaya nga eh!!! bakit ba siya ganyan, tapos sobra pa siyang close-minded ayaw niya tanggapin ang opinions ng ibang tao tungkol sa theology. sometimes hindi na nga ako nakikinig sa class niya kung ano-ano na ang ginagawa ko sa sobrang frustration in his class! worst class of the sem ko! (not counting accounting and math :))

mr crisostomo (so far, at least) has been very good in grading our papers. he has not been as harsh as other people might say. though i have to agree that he's a little close-minded thinking that what he says is the absolute right. generally though, theo with him is okay...not something really good but not something you wish you never took...

i never knew you took crisostomo pala. i think you're talking about another theo teacher here...

After 3 years and a sem (current) sa ateneo, si Mr. Crisostomo na ang worst teacher that I've encountered. Yeah, he gave us grades so much higher than what we expected, but I didn't learn a single thing. In fact, I became a non practicing Xtian for a while after taking his class.
Ibang klase yang prof na yan. Theo teachers are basically narrow minded (in a sense) and should be because they're teaching the fundamentals of what we believe in, pero ibang klase si Crisostomo! He doesn't shoot down arguments...he shoots his students down! Namemersonal. He doesn't like REAL questions from his students that challenge what he's teaching and have done/said stuff unheard from in the theo faculty. Based on that class I had with him, I find him myopic in ideas and even (pardon the french) bastos at times.
To all you guys currently taking his class: just treat it as an academic subject. Be as narrow minded as can be, don't overcut and most importantly, tadtarin nyo ng recitation, esp. now that the sem is about to end! Don't mind asking challenging questions if you don't want to earn his ire...LOL.
I don't think he fails anyone, except in really drastic cases. Nakakapanghinayang lang coz aksaya sya ng time AND tuition fee ng ateneo students. Make sure to get Teijido, or even just sit in one of his classes, para malaman nyo kung gaano kabulok si Crisostomo.

si crisostomo? unfair talaga yan mag-grade. tapos medyo biased pa in favor of pretty girls in his class. basta marami akong alam na ayaw talaga sa kanya.

ano ba ang avergae grade na binibigay niya? na-cu-curve ba sya? if not, ang unfair naman.

i got him for my first two theo courses. and he was good naman, ah? He has a dry sense of humor, but I guess he just wants to make the class more alive when he tells his jokes. I think he curves now....I got a B and B+ from him, but I guess that was because freshie ako noon and was willing to work hard pa.hehe

he was a little eccentric though. he had an argument with my classmate for the entire meeting!!! scary...we were telling my classmate to shut up already because sir was getting mad!

rumor has it that some of his students complained about him always picking arguments with his students and was forced to take counseling two years ago.

but all in all, I liked him.. di naman true for me that he's the theo teacher who makes you hate theo.:)he just makes you think.
