Assuming you FAIL the college entrance exams of the TOP 3 Philippine Universities - UP-Diliman, DLSU-Manila and Ateneo de Manila, what university will you consider to apply to?

If a High School graduate cannot even pass the college entrance tests of the Philippine TOP 3 - then how than he possibly pass the college entrance tests of STANFORD or UC Berkeley.

Well if after flunking in the TOP 3's Entrance Tests kung hindi pa makuha sa reconsideration request, then just apply sa UA&P. Kung hindi pa makapasa sa UA&P then UST.

i think that ust is a good school. i've heard na their biology program is good. i was actually considering it for my pre-med but then i passed the good university naman.

basta to the 4th yr hs students, it's not what school you go to but how you persevere in studying...

I'm not taking a cheap shot here...pero they keyword there I guess is "MASA" (not may utak)...baka mas gusto nila sa UST kasi they can't afford naman the tuition in La Salle.

Ba't mo naman mas gugustihung magaral sa USTe kung pati nga mga big bosses ng mga MNCs only hire applicants from the top 3 schools (UP, ADMU, DLSU)?? Shempre kasi hindi mo maaafford.

Probably UST kahit may symptoms ng pagka-jologs. Ok rin naman *** teaching dun. Ayoko lang yung mga students dun(not all, as in yung common characteristics nila especially when we talk about UAAP).

For those planning to take up Engineering, Mapua is an excellent school, at par with, if not better than(in some aspects), the top 3. Madali lang ang entrance but staying there is a challenge. Halos 1/4 lang daw ng freshman class ang grumagraduate.

Other good choices are UST (for Journ, Fine Arts, Pre-Med prospects), Centro Escolar (for Dentistry), Silliman (for Arts and Letters) and UA&P (for Economics).

It's too late pero if you're not confident about passing UP Diliman or Manila, you can put Los Banos or Baguio as your campus of choice. Mas madaling pumasok doon. Marami kasing gusto sa Diliman even if mas maganda ang campus ng LB at ang atmosphere ng Baguio.

Assuming you want to take up Engineering & you didn't pass UP-Diliman or DLSU-Manila, then I would just go to Mapua (the next best Engineering school in the country).

UST? Not a good Engineering school.

Ateneo? Non-existent in Engineering.

Well, in my case, i wasn't confident w/ myself so i also took UA&P and UST (besides ADMU, DLSU, and UP)... luckily i passed all. i'm now in ateneo but somehow, i regret it... i should have gone 2 UA&P.
so guys, why don't u include UA&P as one of your top choices for college. this decision is only once in a life time. so you guys better decide smartly

hey, i can't believe u guys think that low of UA&P. If u actually try going to school here, u'll see that ua&p isn't what u guys think of. people here work...& i don't mean high school work! ua&p is juz new, and i don't think it deserves such shallow perspectives.
