At hindi lang basta headline, nasasama rin sa Feature!
Are not the other schools getting jealous of the attention we are getting?
Thanks to the most read publication in the Philippines, we are again in the news. Mind you, we are not even in the sports section.
It all started last year when Inquirer started hyping up Rich Alvarez, then came the bribery incident.
Now, that a new season has begun, new stories came up like the newly-purchased NBA floor and the Celino Cruz incident.
Now, Inquirer has taken a step further at making sales and lighting up the "friendly rivalry" some more by featuring the ID System and the 9th floor of the newly-constructed PE/Sports and Carpark Building.
Just today, the headline at the back page of the main section screams the big letters "La Sallian". And I thought they were pertaining to the school paper because that's how TLS (almost) spells their name. LeaCom? There's no such course as that. Maybe the reporter's referring to LiaCom.
And then at the Lifestyle section, you'll see a bloated picture of Rich Alvarez (plus free plugging for PeX) and the page behind it has the whole roster of the DLSU men's basketball team. Guess where they got their pictures from. If you have the copy of this year's primer and look again. They look familiar, don't they?
How coincidental that a Lasallian was murdered and we have Rich Alvarez at the other section. Now, I guess the editors of the Inquirer are having the last laugh.
