Let me get your opinions and comments on this very intense issue that for some reason, most Filipino youth have failed to really focus thought on. I would just like to remind you that you can say whatever you want but please don't forget to respect the people participating in this discussion.

Thank you.

Thanks for the response quickmelt.... I just find it so backwards for most Filipinos, esp. the 20somethings, to be still semi-condescending of gay people(take note gay is used as and adjective...ok)...

All glbt's (gay-lesbian-bisexual-transgendered) want is respect. Where there's respect there's definitely acceptance. They're people too. Filipinos have to learn how to live with glbt's being around. You can't just put them all in a ship and send them to some remote island. They deserve to live as normal as straight people do.

How do the others feel about this?....
I'm still surprised that there aren't Gay and Lesbian Support groups in DLSU or Ateneo...I'm not so sure about UP ... i think they do... and also UST and U&AP.... people should be more proactive in terms of supporting human rights.
