View Full Version : La Salle writers tops PBA Press Corps sportswriting contest (on campus version)

Just got this in one of antonn's thread:
For the second straight year La Salle bets
took the first two places in the annual PBA Press Corps sportswriting contest held recently at the Philsports Arena.
De La Salle University-Manila students Ramon Navarro Jr. and Yvette Katigbak finished in 1st and 2nd places respectively. Navarro had 27 points while Katigbak had 26 points.
Maynard Panela of UST finished third with 25 points while Sherwin Baniqued of UP and Rian Hernandez of Ateneo wound up fouth and fifth respectively.

i guess that is testament enough that we are still ahead of the competition.
although i guess we should try to improve more as a whole.

There is no doubt that La Sallians are the BEST in their chosen fields of endeavor. This is one of them.
