Planning to take up Master in Public Administration at UP Diliman, either this coming 2nd Semester or next schoolyear. But I already have 18 Units of Master of Arts in Education and 9 Units of Master in Mass Communication.

hahaha.. how are guys finding it? Sorry pala.. I'm taking my Masters in IT at the Ateneo Professional Schools here in Rockwell :D but come September, I think we'll be moving to the newly renovated, but still traffic-filled dela Costa campus.. http://www.pinoyexchange.com/bop.gif. It seems sqwater lang pala kami sa Rockwell.. Oh maan.. so much for the free parking at Starbucks.. and the traffic..definitely going to be a problem. Argh!
Anyway, I wanted to ask, do you guys work also? I recently resigned from my 9-5 job. It was taking a lot out of my time, and school was getting tougher. Taking it easy right now, but maybe will start my own site or work as a consultant. How about you guys?

lots of stuff to READ, man. but hey, i'm not complaining http://www.pinoyexchange.com/smokin.gif the reading materials our professors assign to us are well-written, up to date, and stuffed with research findings. there are a lot more oral reports, assignments to do, and journal articles to dig. i still manage to breathe, though :) nakakapag-PEx pa nga ako eh
Anyway, I wanted to ask, do you guys work also?
yup, i work here at La Salle - Main with a 31 hour a week workload (the remaining 9 hours devoted to grad studies) :) ;) :)

Masters in International Studies in good old UP. I find it interesting, and surprisingly most of my classmates are my age (basta bata pa ;)). Dami lang ngang readings, and here I am PExing when I'm supposed to be reading up on my reportS http://www.pinoyexchange.com/boom.gif I don't work, feeling ko nga ang tamad ko, I'm only taking up 6 units this sem tapos sa bahay lang the rest of the time http://www.pinoyexchange.com/shy.gif

Very interesting! Marketing is a very exciting field to study because of its increasing popularity (and importance) in the business world. Yes, there are the usual tons of case studies to tackle and the lectures and discussions. It's a good thing that there are a lot good professors in the Marketing Dept of La SAlle like Dr. Leonardo Garcia and Millet Zamora who go way beyond the traditional series of lectures and theoretical discussions. Classes are more of a roundtable discussion of key issues and exchange of experiences. Admittedly though, I cringe everytime we tackle the financial aspects (di talaga ako ganon kagaling sa Math!) but somehow I go through them fairly well. Mostly it's the Indians and Chinese who crunch the numbers with passion. I still have two trimesters to finish my coursework.
Anyway, I wanted to ask, do you guys work also?
My job is sales-related so I can have a flexible time with my studies. We sell credit cards through telemarketing at Citibank. A lot of my officemates also study in DLSU taking up MBA.

Kasi po, when I finished Mass Communication, I planned to teach. So I took up 18 Units of Master of Arts in Education.
I realized that while working in a government office, one needs to have a Masteral/Doctoral Degree related to the job. So I took up 9 Units of Master in Mass Communication.
Now, I'm serious about my job. So I'm planning to take up Master in Public Administration. Taking this course will help me get promoted to a higher position.
