Who's from Xavier?

Ok, for those who went to Xavier (Greenhills), what's your batch? If you've graduated, where are you now?

Also, what were the good and bad stuff about Xavier then? For those who are still in Xavier now, how's the old school?

Batch '97 ako. I'm a senior at the Ateneo, Comm Arts.

Before I graduated, we were known to be really good in Math pero sablay sa English. It was the other way around for me, I was really lousy at Math and Science (Thank God for NSAT!!!), but I did okay in English and History. I really hope we improve on our Humanties subjects, malaking tulong sa college yun. Besides, not all things important are about Math and Science.

I also hated the way we all had to be the same then. Yung Student's Services (is that what they're still called?) head nun si Zialcita. He was real *****. Bawal tumawa sa line. Everyone had to be really the same, from the color of socks to the haircut. Parang mga Communists :) But, I guess, being high schoolers then, it was the best way to instill discipline.

migs! Ako, galing Xavier. Batch '92, graduated with AB Political Science from Ateneo in '96 and taking an Ma in Comm in the Ateneo at present. :D Try out the search function and look for a thread entitled "what do you think of Xavierians?" or something like that. You might find it interesting. ;)

im from Xavier batch 1999! taking up MIS in ateneo right now :) sayang! nabitin batch ko ng 1 year. the seniors ng batch 2000 had aircon classrooms!!!

What?! Aircon classrooms?! anakng...Well, at least that "developmental fee" is going somewhere :)

So how is Alvin Ang as prefect? He used to be one of the coordinators of one of those outreach things in school when I was there pa. He's come a long since being a math teacher :)

xavier batch '99 here currenttly in admu ME, kaya nga sayang nauna kami ng isang taon kundi naexperience pa sana namin yung aircon na classrooms. I heard na nakakatakot daw na prefect si Alvin sa high school ngayon.

miguel n: yup the seniors moved to the top floor ata of the jesuit residence. their classrooms have aircons na... but the tuition fee i think is reall really high na (as if it wasnt before)
