when i was in high school, during flag ceremony our teacher in charge would ask us to show if we're wearing pantylet (aka, halfslip na shorts).
wearing pantylet is actually a rule written in the school handbook....amazing. :)

I come from a convent run school. Grabe sa rules. Would you believe that there's a sign outside our school that has these 3 things that are not allwoed inside our campus. 1. No bringing in of firearms. 2. No smoking. 3. No wearing of short shorts. Can you belive that? I didn't know that wearinig of short shorts had the same gravity as bringing in of guns and smokin! Talk about weird rules... :)

talk about weird rules...
i remember my filipino teacher back in 4th year hs. everytime na siya ang teacher, bawal mag-cross legs (both male and female version). kapag nahuli ka niya, u have to stand at the back of the room for the entire period. it's unbecoming of a lady daw. :)

in our school, we have that same rule regarding the white, blue and black hair accessories.
and the weirdest thing we had to do was to wear the same socks.
could you imagine having that as a rule...wearing uniform socks. and don't forget, we also had the same rubber shoes for p.e.....buti sana kung yung cute, white spartan.....nope, we had to wear robertson. yung parang katcha yung tela and yung ginagamit ng mga karpintero.
weird, huh?!? :)

It was not really a rule, but everytime we had cheering competitions, dancing contests, etc., our school director would not allow us to wear black kasi demonic daw yung color!!Panira talaga because black really adds a different effect to your performances (costume wise).

ridiculous rules in my high school: guys have to wear sando under their polo uniforms, girls with long hair have to tie it in a bunch, 3 lates=non-admission to first period class, 5 lates=pick leaves at quadrangle, 10 lates= clean guys' cr!!!

talk about ridiculous rules...hmm...the usual..no colored clips, only earrings and necklace are allowed...and not just any necklace for that matter, once i was caught wearing this beaded necklace, u know the time na nauso un..nweiz, then shempre a nun saw me wearing one of those, talk abt kababawan, she confiscated it!...haha..then the thing abt long nails, we were only allowed to have long nails when we were in third year and only the month b4 the prom...no boy shoes (like duh?!) sumthin like boots...then abt the hair, dein dapat boys cut...or if ever were gonna cut it short, just make sure na ma cocover pa rin ng hair *** ears mo or else that would be an offense..and like rules abt socks, like dapat d kta yung brand...just plain ol' white socks, no wearing of cycling shorts or just any shorts under the skirt, and dig this, r skirts shd be EXACTLY 2 inches below the knee, if not and u were caught, u have to go to this hall with the others and take note, ure gonna be excused from class and magtatahi kayo ng skirt til its exactly 2 inches below the knee...u have to bring ur own ruler or measuring tape pa..just imagine the hassle...then b4 they usually check our handbooks if we brought them or not every homeroom time...pero shempre madami pa ren nakakalusot ;)...then at the end of the schoolyear, we r required to sand paper and varnish our own chair... :(

We used to sing this in school. I don't know where we got it. Someone just began to sing it one day and it spread like wild fire!
"Glory, glory to the burning of the school!
We'll kick all the sisters and violate the rules.
We'll hide behind the door with a magnum 44
and sisters will live no more!!!"
Sorry sisters..........nah!
SO BAD!!!

Hellowee! :)
Same with Blue Cloud and Seven, we can only wear blue, black and white clips. Regarding jewelries: only one ring is allowed pero hand, no dangling earrings, one bracelet w/o chimes, and no necklace. Skirts should be two inches below the knee, no more no lesss. We weren't allowed to sport a hairstyle that would reveal our nape or have an undercut ... sign of being a tomboy daw. And if you're caught with those hairstyles, you better secure a certificate from your physician to have a valid reason; like allergies which are caused by long hair. Sheesh!
And get this, one of my friends got a violation report 'cause she tried walking up the stairs without bending her knees. You know, the kind of walk where we pretend we don't have knees so we walk in a weird statue-like manner. Her violation stated this: No Knee Walk. Ay sus!

Back in La Salle, us guys weren't allowed to comb our hair during classes, for crying out loud! Sheesh, how naive can you get? :D
Whenever a bald teacher walks down the hall, we'll holler: "Uy, tignan mo! May Roll-on". Ticks off teachers everytime!

wow! weird rules nga. sa amin, may conflict sa rules about the haircut. ayaw ng admi yung super ikling buhok, then ayaw naman sa CAT yung long hair. gusto kasi ng officers tagpas talaga ang hair namin. haircut pa lang, ubos na money mo para lang ma satisfy sila! then di rin pwede sa skul yung multi colored clips. and we were required to wear white shirts if ever we don't wear our uniform. di pa pwedeng may design yung white shirt mo!
