High school: I.S. Uniform is nonexistent.
College: UP. Absolutely no one cares what outfit you're wearing--whether you look like you stepped out of Vogue or you stepped out of Smokey Mountain. My friend used to come to class in the striped pajama tops she wore the night before, ratty shorts and rubber slippers. Deadma pa rin ang mga teachers and classmates. :)

Well, for me, I wouldn't like to choose but to comment about school uniforms.
Ateneo uniforms are cool, brown and white and for the graders, blue and white. La Salle, the same comment about it. St. Paul, okay lang kahit na parang table cloth ang uniform.
St. Joseph's College, ok lang pero lose the tuck in blouse and the long neck tie, make it a little shorter. St. Scho, the uniform is ok
but I don't like the style of their uniforms.
Jumper type but the color is ok. Miriam College, it has a neutral color which is not irritable to the eyes. Even if u say that uniform is like an upside down tree, it's ok.
Poveda, the uniform is ok but the color is too bright and it hurts the eyes when you look at it. These school uniforms are what I've seened so far, I don't know about the other schools. :) :) :)

Siyempre, my alma mater. CSA's uniform was voted the best school uniform a couple of years ago by a survey done by the Philippine Star, I think.

Although, funny yung skirt ng girls. Poveda? Goldilocks. Assumption? Table cloth. San Agustin? MERRY CHRISTMAS! Hehehe...

Assumption's uniform is cute. But I really have this thing for the uniform of Woodrose. Especially the P.E. uniform. I think they're the only ones here on the Phils. who wear skirts for P.E. but its still cute. Not in a weird way...but just simply cute and preppy. :>;

Of course, I'd go for my High School alma mater: CSA!!! And yup, I saw that article that said it was the best school uniform according to the designers (I think Pepito Albert or Inno Sotto commented on that one). When I was still there, grunge was the "in" thing and I'd get a kick out of wearing my Doc Martens with the uniform cuz it really matched well and it looked sooo grunge! (Archer, batch '95 ako sa San Agustin kaya naabutan ko pa na yun pwede magsuot ng Docs).

But I never really liked wearing my Assumption uniform in college. Couldn't take kasi wearing the uniform with black shoes and without socks pa! But I like the AC high school uniform.

I like the Woodrose uniform. I also attended St. Scho during kindergarten, and I didn't really like the ruffles and the "tali" and the jumper ensemble. Yun sa Poveda parang Goldilocks talaga.

the absolutely, no doubt about it, best uniform of all (high school) is that of philippine high school for the arts! uniform namin: white t-shirt, jeans, whatever shoes you want!!! diba, heaven?? and (college), st. scholastica's college.... yung college lang...honestly, i don't like yung uniform namin sa HS dept. :)

i studied high school in Tokyo, Japan so i get to wear those short skirts for uniform. :) it's like Brent but we have the option to choose how "short" our skirt will be. above the knee is the longest. the shortest?! some girls have their skirts as high as their bum! FOR REAL! :lol: mine...enough to make the guys go crazy but i still feel comfortable wearing it! :angel: i go for style AND comfort!!!

damn...the guys definitely go crazy esp that my school is an international school. (i think we're the only international high school in Japan that has school uniform. the rest doesn't have a uniform like ASIJ...American School In Japan...what a name!!!) the Japanese are so used to it coz it's pretty common. but the foreigners or the Japenese who just went back to Japan...it's great to see their eyes/faces light up! you'll get a kick watching their reactions! hehehe! :lol:

the Woodrose uniform is really unique. a lot of people have told me that they like it the best(and no, they weren't Woodrose students!.) no one else has the same plaid pattern or the "useful" collars(woodrose people, u know what i mean :D). it was even designed by pitoy moreno before he got really famous

im not against bene uniform or anything. its just that i find something wrong with it. i used to study in bene and i think during my time the uniform was just fine. now kasi the girls are trying to make the blouse as if it is a baby tee. samahan mo pa ng nilulupi at iniipit yung sleeves! actually di ko sya ma-describe ng tama pero its what you do to your shirt pag naiinitan ka. (aaaah, whatever!) yung skirt naman... ay sos, swerte mga janitor niyo kasi di na nila kailangan mag-walis... too long na mga bene girls!

hehe how true. i even had my blouses custom-made so there wouldn't be ruffles in the sleeves anymore and i wouldn't have to fold it/put it up all the time. actually, they made a rule about it already that the girls can't put up their sleeves and there has long been a length specification with the skirt but well.. they're not that good at implementing those rules. hehehe. the students can still outsmart them.

thatgirl: how sad noh... i just hope the girls in bene would realized that the uniform is a uniform (hindi pamporma), wala na silang magagawa don! the ruffles in the sleeves isnt bad at all. i like it better than putting it up as if they're always ready for a basketball fight. whats also annoying is that the blouse is starting to shrink. grabe, i have never seen a uniform so tight(agree???)! with the skirt, even our batch (and previous batches) would want it longer. we have done few crazy things just to make our skirts long. pero ngayon talaga sumobra na ang haba! di na talaga maganda tingnan.

i guess we really can't blame the girls if their blouses are getting smaller. the sizes of the blouses that the bookstore sell are.. well.. not sized properly. (sorry for the grammar, i can't find the words to explain it eh)

their smallest one is still a bit too big. so the girls would opt to have blouses custom made for them and i suppose when they have their blouses done, they specifically ask for it to fit them much like a baby tee would. i mean, that's what i did before. hehehe.. but mine wasn't really that small.

wow may nag-vote sa bene...actually di ganong ka-ganda ang uniform nila. high school pwede pa, college kasi parang hs na rin minus the socks and the pocket/patch. pero uniform namin nung hs medyo di comfortable, with the white polo barong and black pants tapos black socks. mukha kaming erpats. buti na lang di ko naabutan yung namepatch naka-sew na sa uniform. tapos suot mo yung i.d. mo sa second button. hehe kilala niyo pa si mr. mampang? :D
