hi! i store my bags in a closet wrapped in cloth bags (if the store provides one); if not, i wrapped them in plastic bags. anyway, i was going to use one of them, when to my horror, i found worms eating away my wool bag!!! how did that happen? now that it's summer, my room's the warmest place in the house (heck, it's the warmest place year round).

so does anybody have any tips on how to take care of bags? i just store them away (like i said before) and clean them when i see it's getting dirty. should i clean them weekly? but what if their shine fades esp the leather bags? any tips pls? thanks!

baka may naiwan ka na pagkain sa loob ng bag mo kaya nagkaron ng worms. that's the only explanation i can think of.

Oh my gawd. Worst nightmare nga!
One important tip...let your bags breathe...meaning, don't keep them stored in cabinets, unused for a long period of time. Big factor why that happened to your bag was the temperature too. You said warm...big no no yun!
If that bag was made out of authentic leather, I'm sure the leather would've sticked together or something (I should know...that happened to me and my Ferra bag once...never again I said!)

If you'll notice, bagaholics...most especially those who go for signature ones, keep their stuff in open shelves...not in cabinets...
They can easily get dusty but then it would be easier to clean them every once in a while as compared to not being able to use them at all anymore because they're weathered already or whatever.

thanks LadyMarmalade! i'll just air them out weekly na lang kasi i don't think i can break down my closet doors.

another question, i have a mocha velvet (or suede..i'm really not sure) bag. how do i clean it? takot ko baka masira yung texture if i have it washed.

i don't store my bags in closets or any closed space. i think it's really best to hang or place them somewhere open and airy but away from direct sunlight or heat. we have a very humid weather and the closet really isn't ideal for storing bags. same goes for shoes, especially leather ones.

i'm currently organizing and cleaning my room, its a bit small and therefore looks messy with all of my things on it, so what's the best way to store bags for someone with a small room like me
