povedans are cool...i hang out with a lot of povedans..my best friend is a vedan!! :p The older povedans are more down to earth than the newer ones for some reason..i think them being THE exclusive school for the north made some povedans super arte and mayabang. But overall, most povedans i know are nice, cool and fun to be with :D

Anyway, of course as a graduate of Poveda, I'd say that they're great. However, you have to admit, in every school, there are always maarte people. And even if only a few of them are actually maarte, the whole school's affected by it. Nobody's perfect. What more an entire school. :)

Well, one of The Rock's best friends is a Povedan and she's way cool. :cool: Back in high school, The Rock used to think like the typical guy did about Povedans: mga Kastila kung magsalita, medyo parang maid ang uniform, pero maraming maganda. :D When The Rock went to college, The Rock became friends with a number of Povedans and they were all great people. Siyempre minsan may maaarte diyan, pero aling school naman ang wala diba? The Rock knows this much, the Povedans he knows may have some traces of arte in them, maybe a tiny bit of arrogance too, but that doesn't change the fact that they are also some of the nicest and coolest people that The Rock knows. http://www.pinoyexchange.com/smokin.gif

hmmmm.... i agree with pinkmoon, although i graduated several years ahead of you guys. *there were only 2 sections in my batch* ;) but in my time, ganun na rin. there were different groups with vastly different personalities. like in every other school.

I only graduated from Poveda myself 5 years ago but I take it it's changed ALOT since I left. As with every school there's always a big mix of people. For one thing it's not always easy or recommendable to label people for whatever reason. Actually I think this topic is really shallow and can't see the point of it at all. If I had to comment on it though, like I said, it was a mixed sort of group. Alot of people were down to earth, alot had their noses up in the air the whole time.
Wow, not only can some Pinoys learn to discriminate on the basis of one's skin colour or social strata but also on the basis of one's school! Unbelievable! :rolleyes:

but then again, my fellow Povedans, we're actually nice people, right?! :D. A lot may think that Povedans are maarte, snobs and all that...well, i guess, like the others here, it takes to know a Povedan before you can actually say something about them. Peace! :)

I graduated from Poveda about 4 years ago. Our batch was pretty cool. There are a lot of nice Povedans, you just really have to get to know them and get over the stereotype that we're snobs and maarte. We aren't. :cool:

And besides, I happen to like our uniform. Mukhang kaming highlighter among the throng of white blouses and dark colored skirts. We stand out! :)

I graduated from Poveda about 2 yrs ago...and I NEVER REGRETED studying and finishing my elem and hs days there. It has always been tough there, but hey everything pays off. Esp. now that I'm in college..ang sama nga lang other peeps from other schools expects so much from us which is also not bad after all coz wer're challenged in so many ways...So, to all you Povedans out there! Just chill!!! Keep the school spirit alive! GOODLUCK TO ALL OF YOU!!

If i was born a girl, I would definitely study in POVEDA kaya lang I'm a woman trapped inside a MAN's body! So i have no choice but to study in ATENEO from prep to 4th year high. Pero for me I think it's a blessing in disguise to study in Ateneo because of the JESUIT education that they instilled in each and every atenean and of course..... ANG DAMING CUTE! OMIGOSH!
