It's not a new proposition actually. But don't you think it's about time the Philippine Congress pass a law moving the opening of classes from June to September. There are many practical reasons, one of which is we won't be affected to much by the rainy season. (Unless of course you always want classes to be suspended).
One disadvantage though is you won't be able to take up summer classes.
What do you think?

Anong kinalaman nito sa Movies? :) Yoshi, paki move. :D
To answer the question, I think that's a very practical idea but I wouldn't want to spend my vacation when its raining. If that happens, there'll be no more suspension of classes...wala ng excitement... http://www.pinoyexchange.com/lol.gif

NYAK!!! E di pag summer may pasok ako instead na nag-bibeach ako... http://www.pinoyexchange.com/silly.gif
E di ba sa ibang mga bansa sa N.America and Europe kasi kaya naman ganun yung system nila, ang summer nila July, August... kaya kahit sila, naka-cancel din classes nila whenever there's snow storm, hurricane, hale storm...etc. But in July and August vacation din sila because it's summer...
