hanggang ngayon naman eh.... marami sa dlsu sc officers are partisan. medyo bulgaran nga minsan. sticker dito, meeting doon.
but then again, you can't blame sc officers for being loyal to their political parties dahil inalagaan din naman sila ng mga ito. i suppose it all boils down to how you define student service. are you in position to serve your constituents or are you serving literally for the name of your political party?

When I was Sanggu in Ateneo, partisanship came only in the open when the elections were coming up... It was always a guessing game kung sino ang mag marriage of convenience for political power sa Sanggu. The rest of the year, it was mostly subtle powerplays among members who seemed ambitious. Proud ako that I stopped one particular person from gaining a position the next year by ensuring that people knew he hardly did any contribution for the project he took credit for...

i strongly believe in that because it is the political party which trains the candidates w/ the essential skills of leadership and ofcourse the candidate should pursue the Parties General Plan of Action because in the first place it is where it was first planned before the campaign, who else would support that plaform other than their own party.
