find "your guide to pre-schools in metro manila". its a directory of regular and special schools compiled by graduate students. you will find a list of special schools, their philosophy, methods, student-teacher ratio, tuition fees, etc.

if you are interested in studying the sped, inquire at UP College of Education, Special Education Area.

you are welcome

Going back to the topic, there's a school for gifted children in the Katipunan area. It's Academies Manille (hope i remembered it correctly), it's along Esteban Abada St. For special children, just like what goodluckbear mentioned, there's Cupertino (rt inside La Vista) & Child's Place(they have regular programs but also offer sessions like speech therapy for children w/ special needs; located behind BPI, Katipunan Ave.).

For autism, try this link (http://home.pacific.net.ph/~autism-phils/links.htm). There's also a school called Child's World in Sta. Mesa which I think is for autistic kids.

There's a school for the deaf in the Miriam College compound.

I think Community of Learners in New Manila, QC also caters to students with special needs.

A lot of public schools have SPED classes. I guess you could try contacting DECS for a detailed list.

From Google, I also found this lik that you might find helpful: http://www.rehab.go.jp/english/whoclbc/DoF/FacilitiesinPhilippines.html .

Try Coopertino in La Vista, Quezon City, near Miriam.
