Hi, everyone! I bought some plain tshirts in different colors last week and I'm thinking of designing them or something. You know, creative designs, beads, satins, whatever. The thought just occured to me last week and I haven't done it before. (Except maybe when I was in Grade 6 when we were asked to design shirts using some waterproof and permanent paints.) I don't know exactly what to do now. I figured I wanted to do this just to give my shirts some personal touch, like just print my name on it or some numbers and put some stars or something...

Or is there any stores that offer personalized t-shirts? Just names or number at the back. I heard there's one in Megamall but I haven't seen it and I don't know exactly where it is. If you could shed some light, I'll be very grateful. :)

Any ideas you can share? Maybe you can also post some materials I can use and where to buy them. Thanks in advance! :drive:

Easiest:
buy a pack of iron-on transfer papers (available at most computer shops)
get an image from the web that you like (add text, whatever, DIY!)
follow instructions on ironing it on a t-shirt.

or you can recreate the image you like by using beads! ^_^

Wow, that seems cool! I just hope it doesn't get mushed up or something. And I hope it's permanently there once I put a design on it. :)

Thanks for the suggestion! :jester:

Any suggestions? :drive:

That would be really unique. Say, I guess it requires stitching, right? I just hope I know how to do it right. Are there tailor shops or sewing shops which accept sewing the beads on the t-shirts? Or are they really easy and can I do it myself? :)

Thanks for any enlightenment. I'm just plain clueless. :drive:

It will eventually deteriorate after a long time, but that'll give the t-shirt more character, wouldn't it? :)

yep, it's pretty easy especially if you have a simple design, it's just stringing beads together then sewing them on.

The Store With No Name is in Robinson's Galleria. 3rd floor west wing i think :kenny:

Will ordinary printer ink be enough or do you need special ink?

what's a good brand of transfer paper?
doesn't the design fade after washing the shirt several times?

hey.. theres an airbrush shop at robinson's place there in makati (if im right).. well used to at least. i also know there (was) an airbrush in mango square cebu since i got a couple o shirts designed there. but the cebu branch closed - i know the owner and artist but and he came from the manila branch.

meh.. could do it myself anywho. airbrush + air compressors + textile paint + sum good paintin skills = nice design.
