Currently, I am working on a project for my International Marketing Management class at San Francisco State University. The group I am apart of has decided to bring Jamba Juice, a health conscious company, to the Philippines. We believe that such a company would be popular in the Philippines. Jamba Juice serves smoothies (A smoothie is produced by blending the whole fruit and a juice is the juice extracted from the fruit), juices, and baked goods. The company primarily has locations all over California. As of now, my group is researching all possible competitors, laws and regulations, customer base, and such.
Here are some questions that we have so far:
Who are possible competitors (ie, Dairy Queen)?
Who are possible customers?
Is the Philippines centered on trying to be a health conscious society?
Should Jamba Juice market their locations as a place to go to socialize or just buy a drink and go?
Do you know of any websites that will aid in our search?
Any other suggestions or comments will be much appreciated.
Thank you for your help.
