To The UP People: Are Acad Orgs becoming like that of frats and soro's?

Hey people of the UP System....there are reports kasi of hazing in acad orgs in UP kaya maraming "barbarians" ngayon. Question: Talaga bang nagiging kasing-brutal na ng ilang frat at soro ang mga acad orgs sa UP system?

i think so..... like yung org na sasalihan ko ngayon... (secret!) 3 hell weeks ang application... pero i doubt it naman kung may physical injry involved... pero sa kin naman, if the three hell weeks are worth it, why not?

My acad org is not barbaric. There are no initiation or hazing, but we do have an induction. We don't go for physical tests, we prefer intellectual tests or humiliation, something that is within the organization and the members alone.

The organization can be mistaken as a sorority because there are times that the population of the organization is predominantly female :D

My acad org doesn't go for physical nor psychological tests. We don't do public humiliation either. http://www.pinoyexchange.com/bop.gif There are interviews, projects, talent shows, etc -- enough requirements to help them fit in the crowd and discover assets and liabilities that would eventually help the organization... nothing more, nothing less. ;)
