Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think LIKAS is one of the first, if not in fact the first, whitening papaya soaps in the market. It was that effective that others followed suit.

I've been using Likas papaya for 13 years already.
The only times that i don't use it is when i'm bathing someplace other than home.
I'm hooked to it ... but i don't use it alone, i have to use Dove after to keep my skin from drying.

I don't remember my complexion way back 1992 but the reason i started using Likas Papaya was to get rid of tan lines. I had stubborn tan lines before na almost 1 year na, ayaw maalis. When i used Likas Papaya, ang bilis nag even out ng skin ko. So i used it regularly na. I wasn't exactly morena before i used Likas Papaya but i must say, my skin now is its fairest ..... if i don't use Likas, parang kulang sa glow kaya i use it always para happy and contented ako with my skin.
Or siguro naaarawan ako back in college and halos hindi na when i started to work kaya my natural fair complexion came out? But i know, in my heart, that Likas is doing a great job on me .... i know my body =)
My mom brought home a diff papaya soap and just one use made me feel the diff kaya kahit libre yung soap na yon, i still paid for my Likas Papaya.
Just use a moisturizing soap or wash after Likas para hindi dry ang skin mo. Ako, i use Dove or Johnson's Baby Milk Wash or other liquid cream baths. Use St. Ive's Apricot Scrub also, it makes your skin so nice! =)

I've been using Likas Papaya for more than 3 years already, and I must say, pumuti tlaga ako!!! Even my barkadas noticed it. I look better daw. :rotflmao:

But now, I got curious with Biolink Green Papaya Soap (with all its claims). I'm also using it now. Let's wait and see... :ladiesman:

i've been using likas orange papaya soap for a year now. my mum used to use it and was puzzled as to why she kept using it and what was so good about it. i used it and found out it actually works. very good product this one is.

Biolink smells better for me. I can't vouch for its effectivity though because I just started using it. I'm fair-skinned but I want to even out dark patches like my elbow after a fall.

GucciRush2: as to following up with a moisturizing soap, is it okay to just slather lotion/cream after a bath instead of using a moisturizing soap to prevent skin from drying? I agree Biolink is drying.

Siguro if you religiously bathe in lotion too immediately after shower when your skin is still damp (it absorbs the moisturizer/lotion best). But you have to apply all over your body like you do with soap. Pero lotions' moisturizing effect aren't exactly long-lasting, i feel. Kaya they're just to supplement siguro?

But i would really suggest using moisturizing soap instead coz ako nga, when i'm in a super rush & every second is critical ... i bathe with the moisturizing soap & skip Likas coz it's more harmful to use likas & skip dove.

For my face, when i skipped dove and just used Likas coz i put on moisturizer naman after all ..... iba pa rin, my skin wasn't as good ... tighter pa rin vs with the moisturizing soap.

After my shower, i still bathe in lotion though i miss out on my back but the rest that i can reach, i treat with lotion.

I read from a research that green papaya definitely has more papain than orange papaya. But is papain really the enzyme that whitens the skin? Alam ko kse meat tenderizer lang ang papaya...

Yup! Papain, in addition to being a meat tenderizer, is also a skin whitener.

I just use it on my body. I have a different soap for my face.

Hmmm... up to now I don't see noticeable results sa Biolink...

But yeah, it smells better compared to Likas...

I use likas papaya on my face too. it works for me coz i have oily skin, e db it tends to dry ur skin so parang binabalance nga nya skin ko, d n nga ko nagkakapimples e hehe :)

when i used likas papaya before, effective siyang pampaputi pero nakaka-dry ng skin ng buong giliw... tama sa delixoxo, use a product na mag-moisturize yung skin after using likaw...

i tried biolink, ok rin naman...

Likas papaya.

Ive been using this for 10 years or so, its really effective. It will not make you mestiza if you're naturally morena but it can lighten your skin at its fairest possible color.
