Use a tinted moisturizer instead.

It gives your face a certain glow without having an oily look.

It covers skin pigments.

It doesn't have that powdery texture.

Tinted moisturizer - moisturizer with a tint of human flesh colour to act as a cover to the face

I use this:

http://www.nuskin.com/corp/product/cosmetics/tinted_moisturizer.shtml

Skin Beneficial™ Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15

Naturally sheer color. Mirror and reflect your natural skin tone with this lightweight tinted moisturizer. Features microprism powders to impart an even, healthy glow and skin beneficial vitamins A and E, oil-free moisture, and SPF 15 to help prevent environmental damage.

Reasons kung bakit ko to gusto
1. Pag loose powder ang gagamitin ko (like Johnson's), it will give me that powdery look. Magmumukhang ala Kabuki ang face ko. Same effect with din with colored ones such as Pond's. This product has none of that powdery look.

2. Pag compressed ang gamit ko, magmumukhang may foundation ako.

I'm saying this cuz I'm a straight guy and more than anything else, I don't want to look like I actually have something on my face.

seems my skin is allergic to face/pressed powders... kahit yung vmv and pigeon face powder nagkakapimples agad ako after first application, kinabukasan dami ko na pimples... so far I tried revlon, maybelline, loreal, even johnson's face powder na white, nagkakapimple pa rin kaagad ako... sa johnson's baby powder lang ako hiyang but the problem is allergic ako sa loose powder lalo na kung scented... takot naman akong bumili ng high-end na pressed powder baka kc masayang na naman ang pera ko.. can somebody help? any suggestions?

Mac's concealers are good. I haven't tried their other products though.

Actually, ever since I tried Nu Skin tinted moisturizer, I no longer use powders of any sort.

Tinted moisturizers beat the crap out of any powder

I'm actually a Nu Skin junkie, and so far, the only products I heard that has a tinted moisturizer (based on browsing this forum) are Nivea and Nu Skin.

I bet my freakin money Nu Skin's is better, only that it's more expensive.

My friend uses this and her skin is great.. me naman I'm a MAC/Clinique Freak... and I like to try stuff from the Body Shop and Beauty Bar :)

Naku...how much naman kaya yang tinted moisturizer ng Nu Skin....is it really that effective? I'm using Clinique right now which costs me around P1500 for a refill lang ng face powder nila ha...it lasts for about 3 mos. naman ...kaya ok lang...

Nu Skin's Tinted moisturizer costs around 1600 (retail). Callcenterbiz, Nu Skin is a direct selling company, in which I happen to be an independent distributor.

From the company, it will go agad sa distributor then sa consumer, hence the unnecessary expenses (like advertising cost) are reduced, consequently making Nu Skin products highly effective.

PM me if you are interested. I can give you discounts.

One thing that Nu Skin is proud about is that it never uses oils for its moisturizers.

The container has a 40 ml. Content.

you still need loose powder to set tinted moisturizer for it not to move.

btw, using loose powder such as J&J is not a good idea because this is a white powder...exactly the culprit in creating a KABUKI face. there are loose powders by cosmetic brands which MATCH SKIN TONE and give a sheer finish. it is important to choose a face powder, whether loose or pressed, which is only a shade lighter than your complexion. nothing more or less.
