the only time i slept in class was in one of my math lectures. i was so stressed out the night before that doing my projects so i was not surprise to have zonked out (aginst my will, mind) in the middle of the lecture. our professor didn't mind though.

Now in college, i zonked out in my art history class just when my prof started talking about the raphaelite period..woke up somewhere during the french revolution...hehehe . Also slept through philosophy of human nature, that was such a pain..sama mo na rin philosophy of liberation :D

I have this friend, super nag-clubbing siya on a schoolnight, kaya sobra siyang wasted when he got to school. As expected, nakatulog si loko. One whole period. Tapos nung break na, shempre we had to wake him up, kasi wawa naman siya if we leave him lang diba, and there was another class pa that was waiting to use the room. Pumasok na yung ibang people from the next class. Ang hirap niya gisingin! Pero when we finally woke him up, he raised his head to reveal......a huge pool of saliva!!! KKKAADDIIRRREEEE!!! Hahaha super alaskado siya!!! And to think na even the upperclassmen saw that scene! hahaha, wawa naman siya! :)

hmm...this reminds me of a time i conked out during one of our classes in highschool!! i was on the floor pa talaga with the bags as my pillows..siyempre, d ako nakita ng teachers so d ako nahuli..tong college, i remember one time, during philhis, pasimple pa ako ng tulog, *** fake na nagsusulat, complete with one hand holding a pen and *** head buried kunyari sa notebook...needless to say, nahuli ako ng gay teacher namin and when i woke up, the whole class was laughing at me!!hassle yon :)

LOL.. only a few times.. but definitely the worse of times I could have slept...

THere was one time when I just finished 48 hours of straight coding and had to go to class. (7 am class.. super aga)
And in the middle of the class, I simply conked out.. then I felt someone nudge me, a classmate.. seems that the instructress (who is also the dean) noticed me.. and when _I looked at her, she asked if I was alright.. that if I wanted, Icould go ahead and skip class.. But I of course declined.. and said I was fine.. and immediately fell asleep.. :D

it was an absolute no-no for me to sleep in class during hs and college, so it never happened back then. but when med school struck! naku, no turning back! paano kasi, the aircon is so cold. and with 139 other people in the classroom, who'd notice 1 Zzzzing figure at the back? (pero when more than half of the class is asleep, they *do* start to notice, and believe me, it happens!!)

once, i borrowed the pillow of a guy classmate (yes, we even have the gall to bring those baby pillows to school). when i woke up, there was this pool of drool smack in the middle of his pillow. Yes I have! hehe...mga 3 times ata.

The first was during LINALGE (linear algebra). The prof was soooooo darned boring you can't help but fall asleep. I even took extreme measures and got a seat right in front of the class so that I'd feel ashamed sleeping in the class kasi he'd see me. Unfortunately, it didn't work kasi I really conked out big time one day hehe...

The second was when we had a take home exam in MICPRO1 and we really didn't sleep that night so we went to class sabog. I was seated at the back and was resting my head against the wall and promptly fell asleep, I didn't realize I fell asleep until the prof called out my name because he was handing out the test papers.

The third was during SPECIAL. I just felt plain sleepy that time and his lecture was boring! Ang boring talaga kapag naka-PPT ang lecture, tapos dada ng dada ang teacher mo. Anyway, there were like only 10 persons in class and almost half of us were sleeping..and katabi pa namin yung prof! hehe....i'm so bad! :D

every day of the first semester last year that i did not buy iced coffee from casaa (dati sa greenhouse na now squash house) or from the CS canteen. Gosh, that was an awful semester... I was hooked to coffee. Go check my notes. You'd find squiggly lines all over the pages. 'Sides, when I get lucky, I could even have words from my dreams scribbled and mixed with my class notes.... aarrgghhhh... awful thing to have if you are the neat note taker!

when i was in first year, ang i slept during our either natural science or earth science... kasi naman, i was super puyat. ang dami2x kasi ng assignments eh. then the instructor made pansin that i was sleeping.. he called my attention right away, and told me: "Would you like to sleep? Why don't you bring your folding bed in school!"

when i was in the sophomore stage, i slept at one of my filipino quarterly exams. i was super drowsy talaga, hindi ko talaga namalayang i nakatulog na pala ako, afternoon yun! ginising na lamang ako ng isa sa mga kaklase ko nang patapos na ang exams.... eh, ang dami2x ko pa namang hindi pa nasasagot....so, i freaked out! talagang sobrang nagmadali ako sa pagsagot... well, i had just to make bawi na lang sa susunod.

Nung junior na ako, our instructor in biology II gave so many assignments which were ALL, super madami! as in, those were all to be accomplished through research work, making use of those very mabibigat na hardbound books, na mahirap hakutin sa library! one night, i started encoding my assignment..... nagreresearch pa lang ako nun, inaantok na ako... tapos nagtatawagan pa kami ng mga kaklase ko... " o ano, natapos mo na ba? nahanap mo na ba ang definition ng medulla oblongata? arteriosclerosis? hypertension?...... hindi pa eh. o ano, meron ako nito..... hmmm, trade tayo, ganon?...... opo!.......o sige, d naman mahahalata ng damuhong teacher nating si "echemus pandakekus" noh!..... oo nga!...... ang talino talaga natin!..... go science high!......"
then, i finished my assignment at 5:30am. i slept for thirty? ot forty-five minutes lang kaya? then i had to go to school early... mga 7:30am. when i entered the room, i passed my assignment kaagad. huh! what a relief! pinagpaguran ko yun ah! ah este, namin pala.. hehehe. then, irritatingly, nasa mood siyang magklase, then all of us were drowsy talaga... i slept sandali, nang hindi nagpapahalata. grabe!!! we were so pathetic! nilabanan ko po ang antok! nakayanan ko! hehe, tapos natulog na lang ako the next period kasi ala ang teacher namin... buti naman!!!

nung senior na ako. aba! nagbago ang administration ng school, bwiset! naging 7:00am na ang pasukan! pero d ako nakatulog ni once that time. yung kaklase kong mataba, yun, kahit na yung principal namin ang nagtuturo ng genetics, aba, itong si taba, natutulog lang! ang sarap kaya ng buhay niya. oist pero, 2nd honorable mention namin yun!

I can't remember kung when, but the last time I slept in class was during a long test!

I had a presentation in Theology at 9 AM, and I didn't sleep the night before because I was busy preparing the Powerpoint presentation. At 1:30 PM I had a seminar to deliver, so after my Theology presentation I didn't have the time to sleep anymore. I had more than my usual share of coffee already but that didn't work.

The long test in History came at 3 PM. There was a reading part in the test, and when I reached that part I was too tired to start reading the text so I closed my eyes. The next thing I knew I had been asleep and had less than 30 minutes to finish the test! Sobrang napa-rush ako sa pagsagot! :)

Our group got an A for the Theology report, my seminar was a B+, and the test an A. :D

Well, there was this really funny thing that had happened to one of my classmates in our major class. We have this really nice air-conditioned classroom. We ,15 in all, were all graduating students. Our class started at 9 am. Being an interior design student, I rarely sleep at all, and so with my other classmates. So that certain morning, all of us were so tired ( I even had shades on in class coz I had this ugly dark ring under my eyes) and sleepy. More than half of the class were absent coz either they were still sleeping or they were still working since last night (haaay...) Our teacher, who was such an understanding one, just kept her cool and continued with her lessons. I was about to close my eyes then coz I almost gave in to my dizziness, I heard one of my classmate murmuring and giggling from behind so I turned back. I heard my teacher askin what's the commotion all about...and we just saw our cute and fat classmate who was really dead asleep complete with snores only him couldnt hear. We all laughed at his sight and it took him another minute to realize what he was doing. It was like an ice-breaker for us. It awaken us somehow. Haaay, i missed college tuloy...:depressed:

A few times...among others, I slept once in my Intro to Philo class back in freshman year and Theology class in second year. During my Intro to Philo class, I was on the second row (front area). I slept for 20 minutes. Before the class ended, my prof called my attention but he only said "it's okay to sleep during my class at it is not distracting. It's better than seeing other people talk." :glee:
