To Lasallians: Naging teacher nyo ba si Gojocco sa philosophy? Wala lang! Kase napaka-enigmatic ng taong yun! Masyadong influential yung mga tinuturo niya na God doesn't exist. May naimpluwensiyahan nga yun sa class namin. Ngayon, hindi na nya sinusunod yung religion nya at magshi-shift pa ng course na Philosophy!
Ang galing talaga ni Mr. Gojocco!!! Siya ang ideal teacher!!! Dapat, lahat ng teacher, ganun kagaling magturo!!!

Gojocco, Diyos ko! He was my prof during Intphil and almost half of the class had a big fat egg (0.0) because of him. Basis of his grades: Midterm, 1 quiz and finals wala sa recitation. I had to repeat Intphil dahil sa kanya. Thank God hindi ko naging prof ulit.

he became my teacher in intphil too... gosh!!! exasperating... it's almost impossible to throw anything against his statements!!! sobrang solid!!!

i learned alot from him though... but when a person's spiritual foundations are being shaken, it's always best to turn to prayer. it's instant solitude.

he's a great teacher...madyo parusa nga lang sa exams....may mga styles sya ng di magugustohan ng students pero personally, kahit na nasisira na ulo ko sa class niya, OK SYA!

he was my summer prof in INTPHIL, and that was my first take. I passed, had a 2.0, but I really had to have my faith intact kasi madali kang madadala sa mga words niya. But as a teacher, hands down ako sa kanya! he deserves an award :)

he's gonna be my FOLOGIC teacher this summer. second take ko, my first one was with raj

Well... Mr. Gojocco was my teacher in IntPhil, Second term. He's a really good teacher. Kaya lang I flunked in his subject coz I lacked 2 more questions sa finals. Sayang talaga.

He's not naman an aethist eh. He just questions the existence of God.

I learned a lot from him. He made my mind work. Kaya lang I flunked.... :(

actually i didn't have mr. gojocco for intphil; i had ms. velasco. and she's just as good, if not even better, than mr. gojocco. i'm a velasco "disciple". but she always made mention of mr. gojocco's name every now and then in her lectures, so i guess he really must be good. :)

ummm... dinrop ko sya... supposed to be teacher ko sya this term for intphil... well partly natakot ako about the rumors about him but i think hindi pa ako ready magintphil... i wanna enjoy my intphil sana di tulad ng mga other lia subjects ko like introso and genpsyc cuz super boring sila... i'm not saying gojocco is boring but i have to say i'm not yet ready to takie intphil yet....siguro i'll take it this year or third year na.... kung sya ang makuha ko... i wont drop him na.... good luck na lang to me if ever....

i had my intphil 3rd term SY'98-'99. grabe,since freshies pa kame, we really do not have any bground abt gojocs.first day of class,puno ang LS316,following mtg...puro kami na lang ng mga blkmates ko...haha, nagdrop na nga ata ang mga upperclassmen....
pero talgang sulit ang intphil ko ke gojocs...galing galing nya mang convince that's why medyo (medyo lang) na convince nya ko....

take it from me...sulit syang prof...GALING GALING!!! (wag nga lang magpapadala ng husto)

i'm a lia-com student who finished the philosophy part of her course. i remember my philosphy days under mr. gojocco. he still managed to shock even us philosophy students (who are supposed to be blasé about "God" and His existence/nonexistence). thought we heard all that could be said about that topic! and then here he goes, striding into the classroom like one of those German idealists he admires. ;) i had him as a teacher in two major subjects in one term, and one of those subjects was a course called "Nietzsche." You know---the philosopher who said "God is dead." Every Tuesday and Thursday that we would be discussing stuff in that cold classroom at the Miguel Building, all of us would quake in genuine fear in the middle of it! why? because he could get so scary sometimes! you have to be there to know for yourself.

to give him his due, he's one of the best teachers i've had in dlsu---along with my RELSTRI prof Mr. Hernan Raymundo and my feminist professor Natty Manauat. It's true that he gives so few tests so the chances of a student being able to make up for a failed exam is reduced. when i was a philo major, he only gave midterms and finals (how's that?!). but he's intelligent and verbose. unfortunately, his reputation as the godless professor precedes him. there's so much about him (and atheism) that is misunderstood. as someone who's heard a lot of stuff about god and godlessness, i can say that it's true that you will appreciate your faith more if you've seen the other side...

thank god for teachers like Mr. Gojocco! heheheh... wouldn't he laugh at that ironic sentence.

for those who have not yet taken their logic subject, i heard from one of the teachers in the department that they're phasing it out starting next school year. they're replacing it with Critical Thinking (or was that Critical Analysis? i can't be sure). i think this subject would go before INTPHIL. but i don't know what subject students should take in case they passed INTPHIL already... just ask anyone from the department. i just heard it from my adviser in my Legal Mgt thesis, Atty. Chris Cruz.

pero idol ko din 'to! don't drop your philo subject if he's your teacher coz i promise you it's gonna be one helluva term :D
