I went to LSE but i believe Warwick is offering better teaching and research standards. why did you settle for a uni like lancaster....... if you're really here in the UK, you'd know it's more or less a cheap shot school, well, this is at least true to really bright people. Any plans of transferring to a more prestigious uni like King's, UCL, Bristol, Manchester, St. Andrews, Leeds, Edinburgh, Durham, Warwick, Cambridge or Oxford?

What did you present to Lancaster for its admission requirements? Where did you apply? How did you apply? the school you attended before Lancaster?

i went to la salle zobel before applying to lancaster. i went through the UCAS system and all that stuff (i'm an undergrad). didn't even bother considering cambridge as i wanted a cheaper uni, and scottish unis are too far north. dude, chill , i'm not saying my uni is the best or it's better than those you mentioned, but i'm happy with my choice.

1. A Zobel high school is not acceptable in any british charter university.
the reason? it lacks one year college preparation.
note: unis in the UK accept the ff: A-Levels, GCSC, Scotish highers, IB or two years college undergrad from a recognized university in the Philippines like UP or DLSU.

2. all - as in lahat - charter unis in the UK have the same tuition cost regardless of programmes except medicine? (do you even know that the word - tuition - has a different meaning in the UK?) Now, if you're saying you avoided to go to Cambridge becuase you're afraid of the high cost of education at cambridge, you either have not done a research before going there or you're a sham.

3. Lancaster is located near the border of scotland and has a similar temp with edinburgh or galsgow

ha? no... it's different in glasgow and edinburgh kasi in there it snows, dito sa lancaster hanggang hail lang. and since cambridge is in the southern part of england the tuition and living costs would've just been too high -- as i said, sariling pera ang ginagamit ko, i'm not a scholar or anything. and i don't even know who the other people you were talking about are, this month lang ako nag-join ng forum coz i wanted to meet other filipinos in lancaster.
