UGG BOOTS!!! what do you think about them?

well, i just bought a pair of classic short UGG boots in sand color and what can i say, i love them!! they are so comfortable yet so stylish you can wear it with either skirts or jeans, and i think even track pants. well, i don't care. i just love them. i wanna wear them with an open neck sweater and a denim mini. and these are good for winter, since i live here in the northeastern US.

so whatcha guys think about them?

warm comfortable sheepskin lined booties.

i said booties because they wouldn't fit my definition of a regualr boots.

first- durability. try getting them wet & you can say goodbye to your 100something dollars. you can't even take those walking on hiking or as simply put- rugged walking.

last- nothing but fancy two weeks ago. try using them outside then get muddied out, you'll see what i mean.


my remedy for cold nights or even days here or at the slopes?

thick wool socks(even if the heater is on.)

by the way, what color did you get? i like sand. looks good on ladies.

and yeah, you're right, but i don't live in the woods. i just go to manhattan and saw a lot of people wearing those boots and i tried them on when i saw them and they are so comfy, so i bought it. and i go to manhattan frequently. there is no mud or they won't get dirty coz most of the time i'm in the subway. and the weather is always good here.

some people also wear this during summer but i don't think its a good idea at all. summers here in the northeast is extremely hot. as much as i want to, i will go barefoot.

what is the best way when wearing it with pants? cuff them or tuck them in? most of my jeans are bootcut/flared and when i tried to tuck them in, it looks weird. whatcha think?

they are so comfy. really made for walking, especially since i'm very frequent in manhattan and i walk like more than 5 blocks.

actualy you can wear them in hot weather too. thats what real sheep skin does, it keeps your feet cool when its hot and keeps it warm when its cold. thats why sheepskin is also used for carseats.

I wore them last winter when it was snowing or when it was just plain icy outside. But I mostly wore my uggs when I was helping my neighbors shovel snow :glee: I love the black knee-high ones the best.

I have the classic short in sand and I love it. In Cali people wear it year round :lol:.

To answer your question about wearing your jeans tucked in or out, I wear mine out. If the jeans are tapered or slim, it's okay to tuck in.

Buy UGG cleaners and protective spray to maintain your boots. Also they sell replacement footbeds when the old ones become worn out.

i think it's another fad.actually last year eh nagsuluputan na yan but i guess ppl are now jumping in the bandwagon..they are alrite..true the Real Uggs i think there is a waiting list for it..but if u r lucky u mite find it in a store where ppl least expect to buy it from..

Mukluk's is one of this seasons hottest trend. I got my Ugg's winter of 2003 and gave it to my Mom last year, I just dont feel comfy wearing it anymore since I've seen a lot of people wearing the same style and shade that I have.

I bought a new one though, quite similar to Mukluk's. It has a little faux furrs goin on, cute and warm enough since it doesn't snow in our place.

like many people in this thread, i have no problem with uggs, only during the summer, i live in california, so right now its pretty cold enough to wear. i also have no problem with people wearing it habang summer dito sa CA, just as long as you wear it right.

anyway, i go to school in downtown la, and i see people with the mukluks, i think they are so cool. function and style together.

I don't own a pair but I have similar ones and I agree they're quite warm. In the snow, however, not so practical since they get all wet.
