When i graduated, she was still there;) Don't know ngayon..... yeah, she's nice.
*okay*

pinaka-mataas na naabutan naming tuition is P65k+ ata yun. Yeah, mas expensive kasi pag may lab subjects.

And it was when we graduated, I THINK, when they introduced the new curriculum to the incoming frosh. Yung, when you reach sophomore, pipili ka ng major mo. culinary, tourism or hotel management ata??? not sure. pero parang ganun??? I think, we're lucky parin cause na-tackle natin lahat, but ang advantage lang nila is makaka-focus sila sa mas gusto nilang i-pursue.

And the uniform looks much better now. kainis. haha. but i like ours too. *okay*

Ano poh mas mahal culinary trak o hospitality trak

waxy
Apr 4, 2006, 10:20 AM
^Culinary arts track is much more expensive than the hospitality track (because of the lab fees, etc). BUT, there would be more job opportunities for the CA diploma holders. So basically, a student who chose the CA track will somehow be well compensated in the end.

Screaming wind, just to give you a hint, HRIM in benilde offers 3 majors: hospitality management, tourism, and culinary arts.

These are some of the subjects in each major:

Hospitality Track:

Bar Management (The Best!)
Entrepreneurship, Franchising & Business Management
Convention & Catering Management
Marketing Management
Human Resource Management
Front Office & Housekeeping Operations
Institutional Purchasing
Food Service Systems
Financial Management

Travel & Tourism Track:

Principles of Tourism 1&2 (This is where you get to travel abroad)
Ecological Tourism
Transportation Management
Tour Management & Guiding
Sports & Leisure Management

Culinary Track:

International Cuisine (Lecture & Lab)
Filipino Cuisine "
Asian Cuisine "
Fundamentals of Baking & Pastry "
Principles of Food Production & Menu Planning
Information System for Culinary Arts
Professional Cooking Skills
Poultry & Meet Cookery

*Regarding the tuition fee, it depends on what major you wish to take. Hospitality and tourism major is around 60k per term, while culinary major is around 80-100k per term. Kind of expensive yeah, but definitely worth it. HRIM in Benilde is the best!

Hi everyone, if there's anyone interested to work in Canada, just PM me. Minimum of 1 year experience in hotels, front desk to top management are the positions needed to be filled. Emailed resumes are better. ;)

DO/sita din ba?? i really really need to know. :( hassle kasi i have algebra class there mwf and tue (after PE) eh 10 and 20 minute lang meron ako before my class starts there.

Yeah! BS HRIM in benilde is a very good course. Lagi tayo nananalo sa mga contests outside the school. Usually, mga culinary arts related na contests. But of course hospitality management is also a good track pati tourism management. Facilities is a-okay! Worth it yung tuition fee. Now,nirerenovate nila 7th at 8th floor ng akic. So expect a better campus/school by the time you transfer ;-)

Yeah! You can transfer sa 3rd term! That's what I did. It's my 2nd term palang in benilde. Since maraming ncredit na minor subjects from my previous school, Hindi naman ako masyado nahuli sa flowchart ng hrim-ca. :-)

1. May dress code ang CSB in general applicable for all schools. In case of AKIC, 2 dress codes ang iniimplement doon, ang CSB dress code (bawal tsinelas, thorn shirts) at ang SHRIM dress code so ask any fellow SHRIM student about it.
2.In case na nakaPE ka. Masuwerte kung di ka SHRIM or any course that require you to dress up for that particular day. But in the end, it all depends with your professor kung papayagan ka na nakaPE ka lang (if you're not SHRIM). (Note, this from the observation of an SDA student who used to have classes there).
3. If you're Shrim, it all depends on the days when you should wear formal. the DO's are strictly observes the SHRIM dress code kaya pansin mo in Main and in AKIC they installed foot censors on major entrance/exit points. Ganon sila kahigpit.
