if you're going to do a hand operation, i suggest you go for high art. try lithographic printing.

Epson or Canon printers supported by a CIS (Continious Ink System). Much like what omeng is suggesting. Here's an even better one based in Singapore http://www.inknovation.com.sg. I don't know if it's available in the Philippines, but their system supports even cheap Epson printers like C41.

For computer, a basic system without all those bells and whistles will do. My computer in the office is just a 1Ghz PIII but it's more than enough. Just put on plenty of RAM, 512MB would be nice, 256MB will do.

Software? Ask other's for their recommendation! I want to know also!:D

You just need a computer set-up kahit na P3 o P4. Softwares are ready...meron nabili na gumagawa ng mga calling card...certificates and others. Pro kung complicated and maganda **** mo designs and personalized...you just need ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, FREEHAND or ILLUSTRATOR softwares. If u need a hand or assist, I can help. I'm into same business before. Just PM or text 0927-3992874

Quality? Depende na sa printer mo yan. Magkano? Definitely cheaper kesa original ink, although mahal yung system!

Can't recommend any printer although bias ako para sa Epson. As to the price, I'm not in the Philippines right now. I'm based in Riyadh. Check the websites of Villman, Pccorner, etc. Use their prices as yardstick.

oo magandang idea yan.. paglagyan mo nang document services.

Photoshop mo yung logo nila sa cardstock paper tapos ikaw na mag-cut. You need different kinds of cardstock, tapos copying fees; 1 color 2 color multi-color servicing.
Kung gusto mo, offer to make stamp, you can buy the a stamp maker tapos download nang stamp editor of brother.

I personally dont have any experience in opening a printing-related business, but if any of you need a good supplier of paper. you can email or pm me. I promise to give you one of the best rate. I also offer paper that can be used by xerox or other school supplies.
