Taganas and Menor said they will play for the Red Lions next year, erasing speculation that they will play in the UAAP.

"May mga teams sa UAAP na kumausap sa amin dalawa para maglaro. Hindi kami aalis at maglalaro kami sa Red Lions next year," assured Taganas.

attitude problems!!! if you know rolly and romar menor of CSB Blazers.. just look at their careers right now. ni walang balita kung san na sila naglalaro ngayon. they had the potential but they wasted it.. sinayang din nila yun eligible years nila sa NCAA and scholarships na binigay ng CSB sa kanila.

that's the reason why i'm also doubting DLSU or even CSB is making a move to recruit rogemar. sobrang pangit ng history ng magkapatid lalo na si romar..

Actually one of them listened to the wrong sets of people. Nag-MBA siya kahit hilaw pa sya. He's finally picking up the pieces of his so called career.

former red cubs cris calaguio, ronald magtulis, miko roldan, dennis madrid, these few former red cubs played for sbc during their high school days but didn't studied to the School u've mentioned..

chris calaguio didn't pass the grade cut-off in SBC so he transferred in Letran, dont know in the case of magtulis and roldan(maybe the course they want was not offered in the schools mentioned above)

yup but i'm not in full authority to disclose what they did (actually madami din eh) in CSB.. the player you are mentioning is rolly menor. that's not the main reason.. si rolly kasi played for a commercial league after a year of playing in NCAA (NBL yata yun league na yun). ironically, CSB blazers were a guest team in the same tournament however rolly played for another team (boysen yata yun.. i'm not really sure) instead of CSB that is why he was deemed playing for a commercial league. had he played with CSB, nakabalik sana siya sa NCAA. that time, he was suspended for a year. then nun pwede na sya maglaro, pinili nya yata maglaro sa Laguna Lakers (MBA)together with Lou Gatumbato. as for romar, he was booted out of the line-up.

Let us not assume, even though a lot are saying it's already a lock. It's still early and the scouting and recruitment season is just beginning. Many things may happen and we never know where our Red Cubs would go to.

Don't worry guys, from what I've been hearing, a lot of alumni have been holding informal meetings regarding our sports program. Even our Pep squad and band are being discussed about. I heard there's going to be a revamp.

Ronald Magtulis did play for the Red Cubs but only for one year that was when he was in third year high school. His grades however did not allow him to further pursue his senior high school education at San Beda High School.

Chris Dennis Madrid never played for the San Beda Red Cubs, he played for the Mapua Red Robins then played for the Red Lions. He later on transfered to play for the Adamson Falcons.

i believe dennis madrid played for NU and not adamson..

I am sure that Chris played for Adamson, he was even a team mate of Gherome Ejercito and Eddie Laure. He was part of that Adamson Falcons line-up that was decimated when the MBA opened shop in 1998 (I think) because Adamson lost alot of its valuable players due to MBA recruitment.
