^^^ wow, talagang kahit ano ang performance ng up sa board exam, ganto pa rin ang comment.
that's another thing up studes and grads have to contend with - very high expectations na minsan parang superhuman ang tingin...
anyway, congratulations to all the passers, special mention syempre up dil and lb grads. made us proud again... :)

agree. kapag 100% ang passing rate ng UP, kwestiyonable pa rin ang performance ng UP kasi kakaunti lang daw ang nagte-take ng board exams (eh sa kakaunti ang nakaka-graduate eh) kaya dapat lang mag 100%.
at kapag hindi naman 100% ang UP (usually 80+ or 90+ percent), sasabihin nilang UP still doesn't deserve the accolades dahil kokonti na nga lang yung nagtake, may bumagsak pa.
talk about double standards... gloating over UP's less than perfect passing rate will not help these schools achieve higher passing rates in the board exams.
anyway congrats to UPD and UPLB. akala ko sa civil engg lang maglalaban-laban ang LB at Diliman.
dying breed na talaga ang EE sa UPD. less than 20 lang ng freshmen every year. masyado kasi silang nasilaw sa ECE and CoE.
the top performing schools listed above have 10 or more examinees so UST and Mapua are included in that category. But the list only includes schools with 90% and above passing rates. Mapua and UST could have gotten an 80% or more passing rate, which is mataas na rin.
congratulations new Engineers!!!

20 examinees or less n *** yta... the prc announcement stated:
(with 10 or more examinees and with at least 90%
passing percentage)
...ibig sabihin, the rest had less than 90% passing rate at siguro sa opinyon ng prc, hindi kaaya-ayang ilista pa. :)

Engg ang pinakamahirap sa peyups kasi from around 30-50 students per block, ang mga nakakagraduate sa course na yun is mga 5-10. yung iba, lumipat na dahil sa hirap, or nagshift na. Or maybe, nag Geodetic Engg na sila.
congrats na lang po sa lahat ng pumasa.
