Aside from the grammar, I want to make it clear that the brangay finals was never intended for the NCAA. The term, "barangay finals," only applies, so they say, to the two schools that are now competing in the finals. So what if we are in the NCAA? Should that mean that we too, are part of the barangay or barangay finals?
I don't intend to bash PCU and UPHR, but there are people like you who wanted to make it so big deal. Please, I'm not being bitter, but go ahead and get a taste of your glory. We've been through that many times, that's why you should thank the Lord for that opportunity, and always remain humble, or you will suffer the consequences of your pride and arrogance. I already prayed for our forgiveness of sins, so I think you should do that too.

This "brgy finals" was created thru the creative juices of one of your own, EddieGil. If you have followed the NCAA forum closely thru the past weeks, this whoopla was created, IMO, by your side because of the fact that everybody expected Letran to repeat and PCU to dwell in the cellars. I don't know if this is the main reason why a still a lot of people cannot accept the fact that PCU and UPHR are in the NCAA finals. We never intented to get into this, and we are elated that we are in the finals. IMO PCU and UPHR DESERVE.... let me repeat that DESERVE to be in the finals.

You are missing the point and also you are misrepresenting Juste's ideas. We are talking about the school, dude, and not self-glorification.
Juste is just telling you how great Letran is; how it was able to shape people that made roads towards the glorious destination of this country; how it has served the country to give the quality education its students deserve. And that's why we are proud of our beloved alma mater. We carry and presrve the honor its alumni gave to us. The prestige and royalty (We have a royal decree from the King of Spain, noh), that the school carries today, runs in our blood, that we call, dugong arriba. So if you are a Letranite, you know how good your school is and you know how good you are. It's called "culture." If your school is rich in the culture of loyalty and excellence, definitely you have a say in the academic community. It spells the difference of some schools, like us, from the rest.

It is obvious enough that it was intended for your schools, and not for Letran. You are again misrepresenting my ideas. Yes, we are family in the NCAA, but the barangay finals is a different issue. And please, stop being judgmental! Shouldn't you really be thankful to the Lord for barging into the finals???!!! Ha?! FYI letranite ako,oh pls, could you please stop dwelling about the past greatness of letran.letran's greatness in the past is nowhere near as to what it is now. school bukul,incompetent professors, and bad management.. mukang freshie ka palang.wala ka pang nalalaman. i've been there and done that.sayang lang madami din namang may say sa letran kaso outnumbered **** ng mga school bukul.

I did not know that the King of Spain cares about Letran. Even UST. Dominicans are lucky that they have a special spot in the king's heart.

Regarding the Finals, I did not find it exciting because PCU never gave the Altas a chjance to make the game close. UPHR was at a disadvantage because of lack of manpower. PCU, I believe, have what it takes to beat either La Salle or FEU. If La Salle's frontline can neutralize PCU's frontline, Cardona and Yeo would tear the game apart. Against FEU, who between Santos and Espinas play better would win. Back to the Finals I guess the semis opponent of PCU would make the Finals more interesting. The Knights were the only team to beat PCU after the Dolphins swept the second round.

Congrats to PCU for winning the Championship trophy. Congrats to UPHDS for winning 2nd place. Ika nga ng isang poster sa Araneta, "9 lang kami pero nandito kami sa finals!" or something to that effect. Next year would be another interesting year for the NCAA.

Excuse me, forgive me but its true that you are as dumb as how you think about Letran. If that's how you see Letran, then I suggest you might as well transfer to another school that would accept people like you who has bukul in the brain. Plus, I don't think you are really, really from Letran. I can, anytime, disprove your inimical, nonsense, defamatory claims about my school. And if ever you really study in Letran, then you are the cancer that kills its great spirit. To clarify your message, Letran's greatness doesn't dwell only in the past. Perennial Cellar Dweller captures the championship that was shared by San Sebastian, Mapua and Letran, for the past 20++ years..

That makes UPHDS as the ONLY team in the NCAA that doesnt have a championship trophy to display on its athletics hall or gallery.
