Hey guys, what stores would you recommend for cheap/reasonably priced blouses and slacks for work? Sa may greenhills/ortigas/quezon city area :)

sa bazaars. they sell pinstripe pants for 400-500 bucks. :) dami ring cheap blouses na ok naman!

Go to the Greenhills Tiangge and look for the brand Hot Kiss. They have several stalls in the tiangge so you won't miss them. They sell really nice tops, some of them ala Mango :) and reasonably priced, around P350 each.

hey there! if youre looking for cheap but nice quality clothes, you can check out this house in dasma vill makati that sells cheap mango clothes all brand new and original super mura their pants are mga 900 lang shirts 600 and a lot of other stuff thats affordable. its at 2408 bougianvilla st. dasma

Try the department stores: Shoemart, Robinson's and Landmark. You may also want to go to the Surplus Shop.

In the stores I've mentioned, you can get nice knit blouses for Php300, knit cardigans for Php350-400 and office slacks for Php300-600. Polos (3/4 and long sleeves) at the Surplus Shop can go anywhere from Php200-400 (and they're export overruns - claiborne, ann taylor, american eagle, h&m, gap).

if you wanna have something that really fits you, you may just have it tailored for you.. i know somebody who does this job very well, his name is Mang Boy.. he's actually servicing many companies in makati and ortigas area, you just have to text him and ask him to visit your place then i-schedule niyo na lang..its better kung madame kayo..para di sayang yung punta niya..he was just referred to us, but he's really good.. pwede mo rin pagaya yun design na gusto mo if you have something in mind basta anything na corporate..

as for the price, pag sayo tela P300 ata and pag sa kanya lahat including labor P550 yung pinakamura..you can choose from his sample tela, dala niya yun lage.. hope this helps..

yup! go to lhasa! 350 up for the slacks. the blouses can go as low as 250. they have 2 stores in galleria. madalas pa silang mag-sale.

Slacks-- I buy mine from Herbench when they're on sale. Their prices are usually discounted at fifty per cent off so a pair would cost about P300.

Blouses-- Bayo and Kamiseta, also during sale season. You just have to be in the their stores early, because the queue could get really looong especially in Kamiseta.

guys, what about nice close-toed shoes for work? i don't know why but the shoes i have seem to be deteriorating from the inside out!!! :o :confused: :eek: :~(

If you really want nice durable closed shoes for work, you need to buy leather. And for that, you need to spend a little more than usual.

If you want to buy them cheap, scour the Rustan's shoe sales. They usually give huge discounts.

My shoes from Celine and Nine West are both deteriorating.... does that mean kailangan mas mahal pa? :eek:

Just because it's from Celine or Nine West doesn't ensure that the shoes are durable - especially if you use it everyday. Some Nine West shoes, however, are very durable - some aren't. You have to inspect it really well.

Leather shoes are always the safest choice.
