By the way, I'm a straight guy and I'm wondering kung anong brand ng face powder ang:
1. Tumatagal sa face ng 1 day
2. Di irritating
3. And most importantly, madaling ipahid (like loose powder) at hindi halatang ipinahid mo sya sa mukha mo. Andami kasing face powder na halata sa facial skin.
I'm looking for such a brand

Question lang po: Why would a straight guy put face powder on his face? Just curious.

Sa Luz Facial care.
T@ng ina. Lahat ng blemishes ko, nawala. I'm not kidding. Wala lahat.
Blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, blemishes, nawala lahat. And my face got lighter.
Jesus Christ. Having a facial session puts papaya soaps, whitening creams to shame.

Probably to lessen the shine, hide blemishes, etc.

Actually, this may apply to any place that does facial services:
Facial session will cost you 200. Basically, that covers three sessions that has an interval of 3 days.
So for 200 pesos, you'll go there three times, in which you're face will be pricked to remove whiteheads and blackheads for around 30-45 minutes.
Expect the first session to hurt the most. That's where the most number of blackheads, whiteheads will be removed. Basically, it will make your eye teary but the pain is tolerable, in my opinion.
Then, after the first session, your face will be swollen. Your first facial session could make you feel the facial pain for a day.
But you will be prompted to buy the following as well
1. A strong astringent.
2. Whitening cream
3. Whitening soap
all of which will come from the clinic that you'll be going to.
After your facial session, your skin will be injured. It needs to be peeled. That's where the astringent would come in. It will help you peel of the injured skin after it dries up.
The soap and cream are effective bonuses.
Total = close to 1000 pesos.
Visible results can be seen in less than a week.
My advice is, don't ignore the astringent. Use it.

1) Male models who go to go-sees wear make-up. They admit that much.
2) Zit-laden guys who wish to get a boost of self confidence while in a bar looking to meet a girl or two, or those who would like to make a good 1st impression with in a job interview wear make-up.
Guile: use the products recommended to you with caution. Your skin tone varies from theirs. The best way to find out if it works for you is by trying it out yourself. I know it's traumatic or whatever, but that's about the best you can do.

Use a loose powder with a big blusher brush rather than foundation or pressed powder.
It looks more natural, and hanap ka ng shade na halos kapareho ng skin tone mo, try Palladio. or Le Clerc's Banane shade.
Reason why halata ang foundation ng iba sa mukha kase most of the time yellow undertones ang asian tapos gagamit ng pinkish foundation made for american skin, mukhang fake talaga, look for japanese or local brand kase they carry shades that are perfect for asian skin.

On special occasions maybe, wedding or pictorials. But I know a guy who really use max factor cake foundation for his face on a daily basis.

sali na din ako. i am a straight male, a metrosexual & i started my skin care business last year. doing this business made me realize we still have a lot to learn about proper skin care.
Take Note:
1. WE DONT ***** to take away your pimples, blackheads and whiteheads, WE DONT bleach or scrape your skin. Hindi na accepted sa U.S. yan. exfoliate is the right procedure.
2. pls dont use astringent. astringent is 50% alcohol. you know why your face crack after you put on your astringent? kc you remove the natural protection of your skin. it means, within 8 hours, you are expose to bacteria attack. try burning your fave astringent. the color of the flame is blue. did we all study chemistry?
2. facial treatment is once a week and it doesnt have to be expensive. all you have to do is find someone who can lead you to a better way of maintaining your good looking skin.
3. Dermatologist, lalo na yung mga sikat doesnt really bother to take care of you lalo na pag di ka din sikat. kaya dont show your money when you go there. pag sikat ka, bigay nila the best treatment. why? kasi they can use you. for them, business as usual.
4. when your derma gives you a prod na walang breakdown ng content, matakot ka, lalo na pag hiningan mo ng clinical studies at wala... takbo!
Hope i enlighten you a bit. SO FOR EVERYONE IN THIS FORUM, for your FREE skin analysis and facial treatment, text your name, your contact number on this CP 0919-6332564 then we will call you. just text me. have a great day and stay handsome & beautiful!
The Emperor
btw, am using a tinted moisturizer that works in 3 ways: foundation, sun block and a moisturizer. man, your gurl will love you for that.

I wholeheartedly agree on #3. Though, I'm a product of a dermatologist that doesn't charge expensively (I would have paid way more), but rid of my acne breakouts like it's her life. So, I guess it depends on how you treat your dermatologist. Sometimes.
As for #4, this is exactly the reason why I don't buy from a dermatologist's clinic. I just ask for prescription for things I know, like Differin or Retin-A micro, and buy it OTC.

I don't often go to dermatologist anymore. Mine is Dra Carmela Reyes of St Lukes. I don't buy my meds from her either, but I let her ***** my face, that's all. I'm very satisfied with the results of the Kate Jones Products that I've been using for some time now. And my friends tell me that I do look good and that I'm blooming daw. I guess that reason alone is good enough
