I agree with Eterna. Parents even if they are stern, strict or whatever...wants the best for their children. The mistakes of the child/children can be rectified....

I do not really know what to say about this topic but that I guess there are alot of things that would contribute to the wrong decisions of the child. Be it the influence of friends, multi-media(radio, television and movies) and with what they read, be it novels or newspapers.

But whatever the case maybe it is up to both of them to solve/rectify the wrong decisions of the child. Both must work to ensure that the child will make the right decision.

It means that for mistakes that are made to a minimum, there must be good communication within the family. They must talk things over no matter what the topic is, be it from the simple things of what to wear for what occassion to the more complicated matter of the birds and the bees.

What ever the case....

The family that prays together...stays together!!!

children are reflection of their parents....although it is true that it's their life, and that they have control over it, the fact still remains that the values and way of life of the parents are instilled on the children....

When you fail you bring down with you your parents who also FAILED in the way they brought you up.

No. We are all accountable for the mistakes that we make. When a child makes a mistake, its because of what he/she chose to do. Although the decision someone makes is brought on by the values instilled by the parents. The mistake or decision may also have been a retaliation against the kind of upbringing the parents are giving.
