hi! i just love pants/trousers like those from mango, kaya lang my built is kinda weird, i'm short (5'0) and my upper body is slim (size 0/2), but my waist, hips and butt are a bit wide for my size. i'm a size four usually sa jeans, pero everytime i try on those kinds of pants sa mango, they look tight sa hips and butt. when i try naman size 6, maluwag na!! that's why i'm thinking na magpatahi na lang, para eksakto talaga yung pants sakin! but syempre dapat magaling yung gagawa so that they can copy the style. so pls help ****, if you know a good tailor pls let me know, i'd appreciate it a lot! tnx! :)

loopy, saan ka nakatira? my mother can help you out if you're located in manila. i can't afford high-end designer clothes (narciso rodriguez, et al) so I'd always ask her to copy the style :). ok naman considering that i'm very particular about quality. yun nga lang, hindi sha nagtatahi ng jeans (or pag makapal na denim).
drop me a note at mirekscibor@hotmail.com if you're interested and i'll send contact information.

mirekscibor: nagtatahi rin ba sya ng mga gowns? mahilig din kasi ko sa mga designer dresses pero gusto ko if magpapagawa ako, dun sa mananahi na talagang maco-copy nya yung style..

I also need a good mananahi for jeans. I have a big belly and I don't really like the jeans available for chubby girls. They're either too big or too trendy.

if you wanna have something that really fits you, you may just have it tailored for you.. i know somebody who does this job very well, his name is Mang Boy.. he's actually servicing many companies in makati and ortigas area, you just have to text him and ask him to visit your place then i-schedule niyo na lang..its better kung madame kayo..para di sayang yung punta niya..he was just referred to us, but he's really good, dame na kame nagpagawa sa kanya sito sa office.. pwede mo rin pagaya yun design na gusto mo if you have something in mind, even jeans..
as for the price, pag sayo tela P300 ata and pag sa kanya lahat including labor P550 yung pinakamura..you can choose from his sample tela, dala niya yun lage..

Hi dhudai!
I agree with you about Mang Boy's expertise on tailored-fit apparels 'coz
i don't only know him on that aspect but i know him very well even his bad
habits of not being true to his words that he gives to his valued clients.
This is not to malign or put the person down or better yet stop him from
being famous. What i am more concerned about is the growing number of customers
he had victimized. Aside from that, i pity the new and would be victims of his
bad habit.
Mang Boy is no doubt a good tailor because he not only has been able to
convince the yuppies in Makati or Libis with his work but even the moms and dads of them.
But this person doesn't have a word! When he says he would be able to finish the job
by nextweek, expect some 2-3 different alibis he would give before he would be able to
make it. This is so true! Ang dami naming nabiktima nya sa ganyan! My friend's mom
doesn't even wanna hear the name, sa tindi ng inis sa kanya, to think na their family is
one of his old (some 3-4 years na) clients. Another friend of mine is still running after
him 'coz her raw materials are still with him. He doesn't know how to value and be grateful
to his regular customers who made him famous thru their word of mouth testimonials.
What's not even more exciting is that the more customers he get, the bigger the number
of people he makes purwisyo.I guess, his guiding principle is that "To hell i care about my
old customers! I've got plenty of new ones around"
You may wanna ask around and dare you to prove me wrong, dhudai. You're a lucky
soul if he hasn't mess up with you.
I, myself had already declared war with him 'coz being one of his valued customers, nakakasama ng
loob. I used to make pagawa a lot from him and referred him to my friends but what did we get in
return,KUNSUMISYON! nasira pa ko sa mga friends ko.
It's all up to you guys if you really wanna take the risk of dealing with him. I just can't help
but share this horrible experience of ours.
On a positive note, we found an alternative in the person of Mang Mulong, also a good tailor.
He currently serves the Oracle people here in Makati. He was just referred to me by my friend from
Oracle. He has already done 15 long sleeves polo for me and 5 pants all GAP and Banana Rep copied.
His current project with me, 8 linen barongs for my husband.
I'll attached some pics here. His contact #s are Home Phone 7169549 & Cel 09194021550.
I think he lives somewhere in QC.
