Catholic School? Are Both Good in Academics & Non-Academics?s

In terms of Sports & Academics, Catholics School are good pa ba?

In NCAA, there are 4 catholic institutions namely:

1. San Juan de Letran
2. San Beda
3. San Sebastian
4. St. Benilde

against 4 non-catholic schools such as:

1. Mapua
2. JRU
3. UPHR
4. PCU

Meanwhile, In UAAP, Its a coincidence that there are also 4 catholic institutions namely:

1. Ateneo de Manila
2. DeLa Salle
3. UST
4. Adamson

against 4 non-catholic schools such as:

1. UP
2. UE
3. FEU
4. NU


Above mentioned name, mas magaling pa ba ang catholic institution both academic and in sports? Nagtatanong lang po?

well, GENERALLY speaking, yes. kasi look at UP, they are non-catholic pero sila ang pinaka-magaling na university sa atin.

maybe catholic schools have higher tuition compare to other, then they could generate more funds for their athletic department... but ityt doesnt mean na mayayaman ang mga taga catholic school... don't get me wrong... kasi mahal ang mapua... Pero coincidence lang yang observation mo...

Per unit in Mapua costs around PHP 1400.. Depending on the Program (or in other schools termed as "course"). Pinakamahal ang sa Architecture, followed by ECE-EE-CoE and ChE, pinakamababa ang sa Nursing around PHP 1200. So i'f you'll enroll full-15-unit load, it will cost you around 20 to 28 thou, per term (3 months). that's why mahal. 20 to 28 Thou for 3 months lang..

and that fact does not hold true to the philippines alone. it is the same thing in the United Kingdom, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, singapore, New Zealand, France, Italy, Malaysia, Korea and other rich countries in Europe, Africa and Asia.

United Kingdom = Cambridge / Oxford

I don't. apples can NOT be compared to oranges... apples are apples and oranges are oranges...

perfect example is your matching MIT to UP. MIT is a technical college whilst UP is a researched-led university. though both are known to have produced good alumni, MIT alumni are limited to the engineering field whilst UP has produced prominent alumni across fields...
