Letran - The best uniform, siempre nice school colors, definitely improved a lot in performance!!! Nice stunts especially the twisting of the girl when thrown in the air!!!
UPHR - has to improve in dance maybe add a little snappiness but actually UPHR has potential.
JRU - I watched their halftime kanina against Letran and I can say that at least this time they've finally decided to dance with a good music and not with their band music. Good thing the girls decided to wear skirts instead of jogging pants.
MAPUA - Magaling sa stunts especially dangerous ones and timing, but needs to be more snappy in their dance moves. Pero has to improve their uniform design, pwede na yung sa girls pero sa guys mejo konting improvement pa rin
PCU - Nice dance moves, great projection
SSC-R - needs more improvement but great formation
CSB - still the best in choreography but has to improve in some stunts except sa oneman stand nila, CLASSY especially with their uniforms linis tingnan combined with their guys uniforms btw, nice FILA shoes for the girls ha and their pompoms are really round.
Beda - Nice jackets for the guys, I agree, has to stick with their traditional moves.

Thanks for appreciating the jackets of San Beda Cheerleaders..actually binaligtad lang yung kulay nun from last season's uniform. Last year, red yung color now white...
For me the best cheerleaders ngayon ang Letran with their amazing stunts, cool uniform(esp. the Adidas Shoes) and their pretty cheerleaders especially si Torres(the best). Asa Letran cheering squad pa rin ba si Bonoan?Crush ko yun e. Unfortunately,di ko pa sya nakikita ngayong season...

I noticed NCAA cheerleaders have their surnames printed on their uniforms unlike their UAAP counterparts.
Is this a requirement of the NCAA? If so, why?
For the moment, it allows hot blooded males to easily identify their favorites! :D

3 inches of Surname is required in the back of the uniform so that violators in the rules of the NCAA can be easily recognized.

Needless to say, cheerleaders in the NCAA back then are bound by the rules of the bored, i mean board because they have a tendency to instigate bottle-throwing incidents and riots from spectators from the opposing side. Instead of pumping up the crowd, they become prime targets for irritating the other side with actions replacing pride with ego-bloating gestures. Sometimes, bad signs that communicate worse measures before a rumble.
Examples are the ff:
> Letran cheerleaders eating hopia in front of JRC (before it was JRU)
> CSB cheerleaders flashing cellphones as they entered for halftime performance which insulted the opposing side (vs PCU or JRU) and slapped the squad with one round of suspension
As of this time, they are still required to wear nametags to pinpoint any cheerleader not following the rules of conduct and for safety reasons (sexual harassment, riots, accidents, etc.). But I think the squads have matured into athletic and performance-conscious organizations that putting nametags are useless. But for some reason, they still want some assurances that such incidents will never happen again. And you thought having a cheering competition in the NCAA was tougher! :glee:
Some of the preposterous rules they included are:
> Limiting number of performers for each squad
> No fist-like gesture of hands when facing the opposing side thinking as if it would signify an intention to start ww3, but it happens, we can't blame the poor saps for not being able to distinguish cheering from jeering.
The rules have to change because the squads are changing. :D

for letran cheer dancers,,,improved your stunts or apply something new..i know its hard kasi mostly lahat ng members ng letran is not as light than the mapuans na kapag hinagis yung mga girls eh ang tataas..i dont know about cheerdancing but i think having stunts or formations is effective..
Letran's uniform is okey! ganda! and the girls are very pretty!! keep it up, we support you guys
