I envy those people who dance gracefully because dancing is one of my greatest frustrations. Anyway, there are lots of dance studios in Metro Manila but I suggest you try Power Dance in Shangrila Plaza Mall. They are the best from what I heard.

No more dance audition po, as long as you're interested pasok ka na agad, if you want to learn how to dance ok lang din, so yung mga parehong kaliwa ang paa dyan join na kayo, coz this summer may gimik ang dance club so stay tune for more details :)

they have programs for beginners at meron din for intermediate

wow..saya naman, may dance club pala dito sa pex..seryoso ba na kahit sino kahit kaliwa paa pwede sumali?gusto ko rin sana sumali, tagal ko na di nagsasayaw kaya di ko alam kung marunong pa ko..

if u want formal training naman, pwede sa power dance sa shangri-la mall or sa air dance sa may quezon ave, outlet yard. i prefer air dance kasi hindi mataray ang instructors... ^_^

1800 ang monthly fee... forgot the annual fee na eh... basta it's cheaper than power dance and mas accomodating ang instructors. sa power dance kasi sooooper taray ng mga instructors. well, except for jamie que. but for the rest, soooper taray talaga. minsan nagmumura pa.. may site ang airdance eh... i just for got the add na... it's been a long time...

Hi Jaeze. You go to Airdance?What's their sched like? I work kasi. How are the weekend skeds? How often are the classes? I'm at Powerdance now.Ya they're hella matary. The instructor asked me "are you stupid? are you bobo?" today. Felt so embarassed. ANyway, what type of dance are you taking? Does airdance have recitals?

they have recitals. last yr sa AFP yata sila eh. instructors at airdance don't insult their students. i took streetdance and jazz, pero sa regular days yun. hindi summer. i stopped na muna eh. this summer, 3500+ ata yung class nila plus recital. one class lang yun ha. yung regular kasi, 1800 per month for 2 classes na. wala kasing recital eh... ^_^

You can try dance lessons with the POWERDANCE. I had lessons before under Douglas Nierras..waahhh!!! i thought im gonna die..ibang klase sya. Though my forte is streetdance talaga.. ang saya!!...BTW, may free streetdance workshop sa UP gym sa january i forgot the exact date. Joshua Zamora of the manouevers will be the dance instructor.

airdance is better kasi sa powerdance, super lupit ng mga instructors. minumura nila ang students.... sa quezon ave outlet yard ang airdance....

I wish I was graceful myself, I've signed up for dance classes in the past at our community college around here - I had a lot of fun. It was a mixed group and I was intimidated at first because of all of these experts around me but after that, I just learned at my own pace and had fun with it. I've gotten a little better but I can't say I'm a good dancer :D I took modern, jazz and hip hop classes - good times!! :dance:

..I'm thinking of signing up for ragga (although I haven't seen if offered) and salsa...but not in the near future :D
