Totoong nanliligaw si Vhong Navarro kay Diana Zubiri! Inamin niya ito sa mga reporters na pumasyal sa kanya sa set ng ginagawa niyang pelikula under Star Cinema, ang Otso Otso Pamela Wan Pamela-mela Wan na kung saan ay magka-tandem sila for the first time ni Bayani Agbayani.

"Talagang seryoso ako sa panliligaw ko sa kanya. Gusto ko siya dahil sobrang ganda niya, sobrang matalino at sobrang mabait. Dahil pareho naman kaming busy kung kaya text-text lang kami. Minsan, lumalabas kami kasama ang mga kaibigan niya o kaya ay mga kaibigan ko. Never kaming dalawa lamang, lagi kaming may kasama. Alam n’yo naman na may image kami na pinangangalagaan.

"Hindi kami ngayon lang nagkakilala. Mga 13 years old lamang siya nang una kaming magkakilala, sa SM Fairview. Di pa siya artista nun at kami naman ng Streetboys ay may pino-promote na album. Tapos, matagal kaming di nagkita,until mag-guest siya sa Whattamen. Kinuha ko ang number niya, tapos text-text na kami," ani Vhong.

Paano na ang girlfriend niyang si Angelica Jones?

"Di naman naging kami ni Angelica, loveteam lang talaga kami sa movie. Totoo na nagsimba kaming magkasama sa Baclaran pero, ito naman ay bilang pasasalamat sa naging success ng pelikula naming Mr. Suave."

When asked kung di ba siya nagseselos sa karibal niyang si Vic Sotto, sinabi niyang "Hindi dahil hindi pa naman siya sinasagot ni Diana."

Ang Otso Otso ay di lamang nanggaling sa kantang pinasikat nina Vhong at Bayani na tinatawag ngayong "Princes of Comedy", titulo pa rin ito ng pelikula nila na kung saan ay ginagampanan nila ang roles ng dalawang set ng kambal na pinapaghiwalay ng kapalaran nung kanilang kapanganakan at pinagtagpo, ng kapalaran din, nung sila ay malalaki na.

Nasa direksyon ni Jerry Sineneng at nagtatampok din kina Tessie Tomas, Cherry Lou, Angelene Aguilar, Denise Joaquin, Pinky Marquez, Karl Marquez, Robin da Roza, Dexter Doria, Michelle Bayle at marami pang iba.

REMEMBER Yna Cabrera? Well, she's one of the Filipina sexy models featured in a controversial coffee table book which was distributed in Japan two years ago.

The news is, Yna has given birth, but like sexy actress Katherine Luna, she would not divulge who the father of her baby was.

But our source has said that one of the suspects is comedian Vhong Navarro who had a brief relationship with the model.

Comedian Vhong Navarro refused to answer questions about rumored ex-girlfriend Diana Zubiri during the press conference of his new horror-comedy movie "D' Anothers" last Monday at the Cork Bar and Grill in Quezon City.

Saying that is the safest way to address the issue of him allegedly "using" Diana for the promo of his new movie, Vhong refused even to clarify reports that he and Diana have lived-in before they finally broke up recently.

"Ayoko na po sumagot kasi laging ganon ang nangyayari. Pag pelikula ko, ang pinag-uusapan siya. Pag pelikula naman niya, ako ang pinag-uusapan. Para safe, wag na lang po nating pag-usapan. Basta po , we're friends," he said.

Vhong also refused to elaborate on the recent controversy involving him and his estranged wife Bianca Lapuz. " Hindi po kami nag-uusap ni Bianca. Para lang po sa mga bata ang communication namin. Other than that, wala na po ," he reiterated.

Vhong said his child by Bianca, seven-year-old Isaiah stays with him every weekend. " Iyon naman po ang maganda sa samahan namin ni Bianca. Hindi po nila ipinagdamot sa akin ang bata kahit magulo ang buhay namin. Nasa akin po yun , every weekend, ipinapasyal ko. Kasama din po yung isang anak ko pa, si Frederick, who is now nine years old," the young father said.

The comedian who confesses to being very nervous anticipating the box-office outcome of his latest Star Cinema film, "D Anothers" (playdate on July 27) said he is loveless at the moment. "I go out only with my friends now. I have crushes in showbiz, pero hanggang dun lang po. Mga anak ko muna ang pagbubuhusan ko ng attention," he said.

He also said he is likely to remain single, at least until after the annullment had been granted. Vhong filed an annullment case against Bianca early this year citing psychological incapacity as ground.

Asked if he got traumatized by marriage, Vhong quickly said, " hindi naman po. Akala ko nga po kasi I will not fall in love again. Pero hindi naman pala . I'm open to the idea of getting married again. Kaya lang hindi pa sa ngayon. Marami pang aayusin ," he said.

In his new movie, Vhong says he has contributed a lot, along with his director Joyce Bernal, to come up with the final script. "We contributed siguro 50 percent now, we updated it, kung ano ang current, iyong pinag-uusapan para mas maganda. Gusto namin yung mas in sa manonood. Kaya nga ninenerbyos ako lalo na palapit na ang playdate," he ended.

Dancer-turned-comedian Vhong Navarro must really be lucky as his movie "D'Anothers" is doing very well at the box-office. According to Star Cinema people, who produced the movie, "D' Anothers" earned P10 million on its first day of showing last Wednesday. Vhong was at the taping of his TV show "Yes, Yes Show" when he was informed by Star Cinema bigwigs that his movie is doing very well at the tills.

Vhong hardly had any sleep since he came back from the United States as he plunged back into action since coming home, including doing some more promo for "D'Anothers" which pairs him with Toni Gonzaga and reunites him with Bb. Joyce Bernal who also directed his hit movie "Mr. Suave."

If the strong showing of the movie continues till the weekend, Vhong might yet emerged as a potential contender for the box-office king title. Most of the congratulatory messages that Vhong received from his friends jokingly referred to him as the new box-office king.

Vhong talked personally to his co-stars namelyToni Gonzaga, Joross Gamboa, Roxanne Guinoo, at John Prats and director Joyce to tell them the good news and how elated he was of this surprise success of "D' Anothers" at the box-office.

The strong box-office performance of "D' Anothers" could be compared to the record-breaking feats of past Star Cinema movies like "Feng Shui" and "Milan."

Inspired by the box-office success of Vhong's movie, Star Cinema is now planning the follow-up vehicle for the dancer-comedian.
